Rice Writings - Personalized Jewellery

Rice writing dates back many centuries. I currently have a large selection of vials available to choose from (see photo album). Then, you choose again!

People believed that rice was a symbol of one's eternal self, and that inscribing one's name on a grain of rice enabled the spirit to journey to another world. Using a waterproof/smudge proof ink, I write your name (or any other word) on a tiny grain of rice, placed in a hand blown glass vial of your choice. The vials are then filled with a specialized oil which helps magnify the individual grain

of rice. You have your choice of either clear, pink or blue oil. If you choose clear oil, you then also have the option of including a touch of colored sand to the bottom of your vial. The vials are sealed with stoppers and caps to prevent any leakage. All necklaces come with two silver balls and two silver coils. I have a wide selection of beads available, some are solid colors, many (fimo) with different designs and patterns. The black cord is knotted so you can easily adjust the necklace's length. The possibilities are endless... I can do your name, your kids names (one on either side of the grain or rice, or two pieces of rice in the vial), a loved ones name, a birthday or anniversary date, I Love Daddy, I Love Mommy, Big Sister, Little Brother, a pet's name, grandma, grandpa ... the list goes on.. Rice Necklaces are 100% unique, and personalized just for you or a loved one. They can also be worn in memory of a loved one, close to the heart. Rice Necklaces sell for $25.00 each, and if you order 3 or more they are $20.00 each. I accept cash or payment through paypal. Will ship anywhere within Canada if needed for a small additional charge (around $5.00) and shipping to USA is around $10.00 :)

Please remember that the vials are made of glass and can be broken. Wear them, but take care of them :)
