The ring is set and raked (thanks to Mother Nature it’s nicely watered) and the forecast for the week beautiful

A new group of campers is set to arrive tonight, busy week of lessons scheduled, the beach is calling our name and we will finish the week with a show!

☀️ It’s safe to say PEI is in its full glory at the moment! The past month has been filled with beautiful weather with lots of sunshine and a lovely warm breeze☀️

Absolutely love this time of year and then there’s nothing better than sharing our beautiful Island and its amazing beaches with our students and of Island guests who are with us for the week for training and fun!

Let’s hope August has lots more of this in store for us….

Throughout the year, I get many messages and comments from riders wanting to come train with me, enjoy our beautiful Island or experience a magical beach ride. This summer I have some limited space and time available for riders to come join me for "summer camp"

Week Dressage Camp with FEI Rider & Equestrian Canada Équestre Competition Coach Dressage Specialist at beautiful Island Wide Equestrian includes:

5 private lessons
1 test/show specific private lesson
One on one sit down consultation
Board & private turn out for your horse
PEI Beach ride (weather permitting)
2 way -RV hook up accessibility
Opportunity to combine it, as preparation, for one of the upcoming dressage shows in PEI

First show of 2024 a success ❤️

Team IWE headed out this past weekend to their first show of 2024 and enjoyed a wonderful and successful day together at the Dressage at Gingerwood Schooling Competition!

So proud of how everyone rode and showed team spirit throughout the day. It’s nice to see hard working, committed and respectful riders earn what they deserve. They all received excellent scores and feedback from our judge and to top it off our group, “Three Hens & a Chick” won the overall team competition!

Looking forward to the next outing together!

My heart breaks for the veterinary community.

Although our programming at HJC is not therapy and is not a substitute to working with a certified therapist - we want to make sure that if veterinarians or veterinary students feel as though our HJC community and services are of benefit that they have access to our programming and our support. You give so much to us, if we can give back to you we are going to do our best.

As of today if you are enrolled at AVC or a practicing veterinarian, vet tech, or clinic staff all of our weekend workshops at HJC are available to you 100% free of charge.

Team IWE in Bromont!

What a successful week it has been for Team IWE in Bromont! Bringing home many ribbons and several division championships!

In the training division Ambre and Allie very successfully and tactfully showed their young horses and brining home the champion and reserve championship!

In Third level Reba and Harma received good scores. Harma & Kingsley bringing home the championship as well as open high score.

Kim and Fondano competed in second level and her horse Hermes competed in the psg

Congratulations to Charlotte and Charlea!

These young ladies had a great first show of the season. Nice jumping rounds, Lots of ribbons, division championships and Charlotte also brought home a beautiful cooler!

Thank you Storybook Stables for hosting a great show. Weather was beautiful and it was a nice day for everyone involved!!

Dressage PEI Summer Show

What a whirlwind of a weekend with so many horses and rides for Team IWE! I hardly had enough time to take pics but I’m sharing a few snapshots that were taken throughout the weekend.

I’m sitting down this evening with a smile on my face. A happy and content feeling. Countless hours of teaching, training, brainstorming, ups and downs go into each student and horse but to see things come together so beautifully this weekend for each partnership makes my heart happy

Joëlle and her pony Mighty Mouse competed at their very first EC dressage show and got solid 65’s.

Harris joined us here at IWE this spring for training and with his experience owner, Santana, they joined us this weekend for his very first show and they went straight into the 70’s!

Kim and Fondano-K continue to train and learn hard and this became evident when they pulled off a PB with 72 and winning the large first level class!

As for my horses, I was so excited to finally debut Lamborghini at his first show and he took his score up 78+.
Kingsley moved up into the third level division with 74+. My horses made me smile this weekend

Also, I got to show Kim’s beautiful gelding Hermes in the PSG. It’s a privilege to work with this talented horse and I was so pleased with 67+ today!

Thank you to everyone on Team IWE who was involved this weekend behind the scenes. Teamwork makes the dream work

It was a large weekend and a lot of work went into this, but when you love what you’re doing and you see such outcome it makes every minute worthwhile.

Cheers to 10 Years!!

10 years ago we made move to our Island Wide Equestrian facility in Winsloe!

It’s been an amazing journey! We have met many great people and horses, Completed many projects and had a lot of fun adventures!

Of course non of this would have been possible without the help of some very special people ❤️

Thank you to everyone who’s been on our journey! Thank you to everyone who’s been involved in making Island Wide Equestrian a dream come true!

Here’s to many more years of memory making, adventures and success!

What a week, what a show, and experience ❤️

Team IWE had an awesome show Angelstone

200 competitors
3 days showing
4 rings
3 FEI judges & 2 national judges

Kim & Fondano took home the First Level AA Champion and Harma & Kingsley the First level Open Reserve and Second Level high score award.

We have started the journey home and will share some more pics over the next few days!
