February is Pet Health Dental Month! Not all pet chews/ bones are recommended and some do more harm than good. A general rule is if the chew is harder than a tooth, it is too hard and tooth fracture is a costly risk! Choose your pet's chews wisely!

Do you have enough of your pet(s) food and medications to last over the holidays while the clinic is closed? We will be closed from 1pm on Dec 24-January 1st, reopening on Thursday, January 2nd. Please order food and medications as soon as possible as we don’t want you to be caught without it. Special orders should be in by Thursday, DEC 19th at the latest!!! 🗓️💊⏰

The clinic will be closing for the Holidays at 1PM on December 24, 2024 and we will reopen on January 2nd, 2025.

Please keep this in mind and order your pet’s food and medications well in advance, we would hate for you to run out while we are closed!
We recommend having all special ordered medication and food called in by Dec 19th to ensure it is delivered in time.

We hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend!

Please exercise caution when sharing human food with pets. Many foods enjoyed at Thanksgiving are much too rich for pets and may be toxic to them. Also turkey bones can splinter and be a choking hazard. A moment of yummy gratification for your pet when given human food is not worth the risk!

The clinic will be closed this weekend from Saturday October 12- Monday October 14.

My name is Brooke! And I am honoured to be the 2024 Calgary Stampede Princess, ! When I am not being a Princess, I work with the team at the Sunset Ridge Vet Clinic, who have been incredibly supportive of my journey! This is a family run business with my mom Dr. Victoria Fielding! I am currently working towards pursuing Veterinary Medicine at the University of Calgary and hope to continue in the family footsteps! Roo was such a brave boy for his first vet visit today!

With cutie Roo’s help getting your attention, we would like to remind you the clinic will be closed for the long weekend Saturday Aug 31- Monday Sept 2nd, inclusive. We will reopen on Tuesday, Sept 3rd with regular hours.
