Alright fellow Cochranites, it's time for our community to come together and help out one very special family. Let's call it a early Christmas miracle. I'm the owner of Turd-Nurdz here in town and when I was talking to one of my clients about a past due bill I was made aware of a family desperately In need. They currently have their power disconnected and it's been put on a limit which I guess means if they have to much going it will shut off on them. They are a family of 5 two of which are children elementary aged children. The woman is the sole worker right now but is just making slightly over minimum wage, as the husband was laid off during covid and has only had very small infrequent jobs and stays home to be with the kids as one is only in half days at school.

She is trying her absolute best by robbing Paul to pay Peter and picking which bills absolutly need paying now but it has caught up with her and soon she is gonna be forced by the town to sell her home as she is behind in property taxes. Which will leave this family in even more of hardship as thier mortgage is cheaper then any rent out there right now. It seems like a very vicious circle and I'm hoping as a community we can come together and help ease some of this hardship.

I have set up a go fund me with her permission where all donations will be given to this family.

I also would like to set up a bottle drive so if you have any bags of bottles you would like to donate please let me know and my self or my husband will gladly come pick up.
Gift cards for food are also huge as let's face it inflation in the stores is huge.
