RustField Farm (established 2013) is an acreage located in the Bearspaw/Cochrane-area, offering lessons with our horses, workshops, event hosting and more!

We are a multi-faceted, family-operated, grassroots business and our aim is to provide a community-oriented environment wherein people of all ages can benefit from our passion. Please take note, we are not an equestrian boarding facility.

Hello everyone!

It has been quite some time since our last update, and you may have also noticed out relative inactivity on here as of late. What you may also have noticed, is our recent rebranding. RustField Equestrian is now RustField Farm. Why the change?

For starters, our focus as a family business has moved away from the limiting label of "equestrian". We wish to reflect the rich variety of passions and experiences that RustField has brought, and continues to bring into our lives. We want to share more of that with you - our adventure is yours, too. RustField has always been about community, no matter where we move or where we've been.

For the equestrians among our fans - do not despair. Exciting things are in the works, though it may be quite some time before anything major is revealed. Bailey has decided to develop an independent project: BraverEquine! Over the course of this year, we hope to be able to share more on this project. You can also stay apprised on the Instagram:

To answer one direct question - in 2022, will we be offering lessons with our horses? The quick answer is yes! The door is always open to those interested in learning at RustField. Our horses always get a say in their contribution, and at this current time, we cannot offer "riding" lessons, specifically. However, there is always so much more that working with horses can offer, and for those interested in exploring the possibility, we encourage you to inquire. These inquiries will be handled is on a case-by-case basis.

As always, we'd like to thank everyone for their support of our continued metamorphosis throughout the years. We are grateful that our growing pains never stop - and RustField never dies.
