Hi, my name is Melissa and my husband, Morgan, and I would love to care for your dog as though they were our own! Morgan and I recently lost our beloved Chihuahua, Petey, who was basically our child. It was very hard to loose him, but dog sitting has helped our grief so so much! We have not adopted another dog yet, so no resident dog here. We live in Yaletown, but out of the hustle and bustle bein
g at Cooper's park right on the sea wall. Our home is relaxed with a chill energy. Doggies will receive a minimum of 3 (usually more like 5 - 6) walks per day, tons of love and affection and cuddles, and 24/7 supervision as I work from home (only a couple hours per day). On weekends, we like to get out of the house and go for a hike, or a walk around the sea wall, visit West Van or visiting parks on the Sea To Sky Highway (beautiful spots!) or Lynn Valley. We try to make it so that your little one also feels like they are on a vacay and not just left bored in the house! We generally only host 2 dogs at the same time, so that your pup feels at home and part of our little pack, not lost in a number of other dogs. We really strive to have your dog feel at home and not nervous or lost or scared! We provide high quality treats and have 2 toy baskets with a lot of awesome toys! Downtown Dogs Vancouver has such a high number of repeat stays for a reason! The dogs love staying with us because of the high level of care and love we provide - they're definitely not sitting around bored (even on the rainy days!).
**We take small/medium and SOME larger breeds.
**We require a meet and greet for ALL new guests. We have extensive experience with these breeds:
- Chihuahuas
-Yorkies (and Yorkie mixes)
- French (and English) Bulldogs
- Pugs
- Bostons
- Dachshunds
- Labradoodles (and other Doodle mixes!)
- Heelers
** We take puppies providing they are house broken.
** We take seniors and special needs doggies too
