I have received a few new client requests so I will give an update on my current availability.

My books are still currently full for this year. But I am hoping to be able to start accepting new clients in the new year (as early as jan) but still have a few things to work out before this happens. I will make a post when I am accepting new clients but I will start accepting a wait list to get in! It will be based off first come first serve so please inquire asap.

Well, here it is, the big announcement is that The Paw Spa is officially closed for business.

With that being said, I’d like to introduce Drayton Valley‘s newest pet grooming salon The Barking Lot, owned and operated by yours truly, and my dear friend in Nicole MacKay.

It’s time for us to spread our wings and leave our homebase salons.

We are very excited about this new adventure and can’t thank you all enough for supporting us in our dreams.

A few things to expect with the new salon, is that all pre-booked appointments through the paw spa, and Nicole’s dog grooming are still standing. We will still be operating as one on one appointments. There will still be no daycare, so all pets are required to be picked up at specified times.

All appointment booking will stay the same, you will contact me to book with me and you’ll contact Nicole to book with Nicole.

The address for our new location is 6120 50th Ave, drayton valley.

Thank you all again, we can’t wait to see everyone at the salon!

Hey everyone, I have some news.

I am actively looking for a commercial rental property to move business too. I am looking for approximately 1000sq feet. I have looked at many of the places in the more popular areas of town but am wondering if there isn’t a hidden gem somewhere I could be missing. I would greatly appreciate any leads if you know of an area that could accommodate dog grooming.

If you are in need of dog grooming, even if you are a client of mine who had to miss this week’s appointment because I am unavailable you can contact Susan and Candace Stewart at Scruffy’s Dog Grooming and they can help you out!! I highly recommend them, and I am not 100 percent sure when I will be back to business like normal.

They can help get you set up around drayton valley and spruce grove area with appointments.

All appointments will be cancelled for the week of May 8th-12th. We did have a fire break out right across the highway from us but thankfully crews got it under control and we are safe. Thanks to everyone for checking it. Hope everyone is staying safe.

2023 price increase

Unfortunately due to the rising cost of living, supplies and maintenance of my equipment I have to increases prices effective June 1st. I understand everything is going up in cost and I have tried my hardest to avoid having to increase prices. All increases will be discussed privately before your appointments that start in June.

A quick reference on what to expect with the increase, approximately $5-$10 on small/medium dogs and approximately $10-$20 on larger dogs.

I want to thank you all again for support. It’s greatly appreciated.
