Acimosis, pronounced "Na-moose" is doing amazing with his personalized training! Today we were working with him around a walker (aka a rolling rack but hey, it works). He did phenomenal at staying calm and caught back on to his commands quickly despite the new element! We are continuing his training with this to get him comfortable and confident for his family!

What a fantastic day spent with AdaptAbilities! The dogs excelled at listening to the AdaptAbilities clients, even those with different levels of verbal communication. We taught the clients how to be a proper handler to the dogs during walks, and they did an outstanding job! These visits are designed to offer the benefits of emotional therapy dogs to the clients. We truly enjoy witnessing the confidence that grows in both the clients and the pups during these sessions!

Weekends usually provide us with the chance to enjoy longer walks in the fields, while weekdays are filled with volunteering and more structured training. Therefore, our weekends often focus on more relaxed training sessions. These extended nature walks allow the pups to explore new sights and sounds. On this occasion, we brought them along with adult dogs, including their mom and dad, to learn through observation and build confidence in new environments and situations. Although the pups are having a great time, every activity is purposeful, with training and specialization at the forefront of our minds
