The flock had a great evening. Loving the break we had from the rain, The ducks enjoyed time in mud puddles. Thus leading them to require time in the pool! The three were covered in dirt and mud. Waffles was showing off her new beautiful feathers while I collected cuddles from the others ❤️

I haven’t the power nor the words to express how much my animals mean to me. 17 on total may seem like a lot to love, but they provide me with so much more then just a companionship. The give me a purpose and every reason I need to carry on. Feathers and fur I adore each and everyone of my babies ❤️

Did you know our beautiful Barbie is named after my grandmother? Today I post this lovely chicken in memory of the women she was named after.

Like my grandmother, Barbie spunky. Her dark feathers matched nans dark hair and her blue eggs resembled nans eyes ❤️

Nan loved the chickens and thought they were a hoot, tho she never had the opportunity to meet and visit with them she was proud to eat their eggs❤️

For todays treats The Flock had fresh parsley, red lettuce,  a coleslaw mixture with dill and  oregano. Feed and scratch are always made available,as well as grit and water!

Can you believe the babies are not babies anymore?! Tulip and Sunny have grown so much. They are becoming more comfortable to eat out of my hands and spend much of their time in the pool! They can get in and out with little to no support. Beyond proud of these beautiful little ducks ❤️

Winnie and a few others were brave and enjoyed some time playing in the rain. Most stayed in the barn and had some peas and beans. Even the ducklings opt out of the rain. Daisy was thrilled to have the full pool to her self in her absolute favourite weather!

Some photos of our day yesterday. Market and then staying cool. Yesterday was a hot one. I’ll post later about how we stayed cool to beat the heat! This weather can be a killer for these little bodies, but they did amazing! So flocking proud of these ladies❤️

Words can’t express how proud I am of this little duck! Daisy is very shy and timid of everyone and everything. Well the other day Daisy actually let someone other then me, hold her! She has come so far and is slowly gaining trust and building relationships. Good job Daisy, we are so proud of you!

Today was Mazikeen’s first big outing! Starting with a pet store fitting at Pet Valu and followed by a beautiful beach trip! She did so well!

Oprah and Mazikeen had a visit at the pet store and the beach today! They absolutely Loved it!

We had such an amazing time yesterday at the family day event! The ducklings (tulip and sunny), Daisy, Remy and Oprah all were able to attend and did amazing! Tulip and sunny took turns being held and socializing with so many amazing people. They were nurvous at first but were so calm and patient. They were relaxed and calmed as the time went on. Taking socials breaks as needed. Event like this really help to socialize and encourage the animals among these settings.

From fresh eggs, mini art, feathers, and feeding the Flock, to ducklings swimming for peas in the pool! By the end of the night the girls were zonked! Oprah had a nice evening walk and cuddle with one of her absolute favourite humans. All were Sound asleep before the car pulled out of the parking lot!

Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts. I am so grateful for this opportunity to spread the joy these animals bring!
