I've been on the run! It took them more than two weeks to rein me in. Now it's possible I may have a few ticks and fleas but I've had fun. All good things must come to an end and the Animal Control guy came and picked me up when some very nice lady fed me some treats And got me inside a fence. If you know me or own me call 250-443-1851 and arrange to bail me out. These days until they ship me off to the SPCA. The animal Control guy got me treated for ticks thanks to Dr. Ruth.

I was out for my morning walkabout and I may have had my "pick me up and feed me" look going. It worked! I got offered a ride in a nice warm car ... Right to the dog pound. No license, No ID. I was out for a walk and a very nice lady invited me in for a snack and a visit. I was on first Street in Grand Forks. Just west of the North Fork Road. The next thing I knew the Animal Control guy showed up and now I'm in the pound. Of course I have no ID. Please call Animal Control at 250-443-1851 and arrange to bail me out.

Well, my rather skittish buddy and I went to check out the fishing at Wilgress Lake. The fishing sucked. I decided to hitch a ride into Grand Forks but my buddy was having none of that adventure. Turned out he was right as I was unceremoneusly drooped off at the dog pound. No license, no collar, just me in all my glory. Can someone call my owner and get them to call the Animal Control guy at 250-443-1851 to arrange to get me out of here?

I've spent a week visiting at a home up on Gibb's Creek Road. (Just west of Grand Forks). The people tried to find my owner but no one showed up or put any effort into finding me. I'm showing a few battle scars on my nose and I've been told I don't have a lot of history of being walked on a lead. I'm a big boy and I'm strong. I'm also at the dog pound and I'm not real fond of the experience. Is it possible I've been abandoned? No ID or collars. If anyone recognises me could you call animal control at 250-443-1851 and tell them where I belong?

Well the two of us were out for a stroll along Highway 3 between Grand Forks and Christina Lake. We've had quite the morning with a wee dip in the river and a rather obnoxious interlude with a skunk. Some very nice people picked us up on the highway and called Animal Control. As is usual we have on no ID or collars.

The Animal Control guy is anxious to get us out of here ... He's not fond of our new perfume. If you know the owner or you are the owner please call 250-443-1851.

Update: owner has been located and Mayo is being returned tomorrow

I was exploring the bottom of deadwood mt. In greenwood when a nice couple picked me up and got me out of the weather. Rumor has it my dads name is James Ross…if anyone knows him can they please tell him to call 250-443-1851

Whoa this 35 degree weather is a bit warm for me. I decided to go stroll the neighborhood and see if I could get to the river for a swim. My tag says my name is Ziggy.

Anyway the dog cather picked me up and now I'm down at the pound. No one is answering the phone when I call. Can someone please come and get me out of here? The dog catcher noted I could use a bath. Call 250 443-1851.

UPDATE: After 24 hours on the run I finally surrendered myself to a nice group of people downtown. Can anyone help please put me up for a little while? I am looking for a new home. This place stinks and the new guy looks lost lol. You should have seen the look on his face when he picked me up!

So the new guy is exactly that….NEW!!! He thought two gates could hold me in haha rookie! If you see me you might want to let him know though. He is a little uptight

Update: I made it 6 hours on the run today before the new guy finally tracked me down…can someone please help me find my owner to bail me out…..they have me locked in good this time!!!

Well here I am at the dog pound. I have paid the time for my wandering at large fine and I am ready to go to the SPCA for reassignment to my forever home. The problem is there is no room at that Inn.

Is anyone willing to foster care me until I can get into the SPCA?

I am a whole male dog looking for some TLC.

I was down by the RDKB office just west of the arena. I thought I'd pick up a license but apparently I needed cash for that. On my way home I stopped to have a p*e and enjoy the gardens. A very nice lady invited me over slapped a leash on me and called Animal Control. Somebody come and bail me out. The good news is I'll have license when this is all said and done! So I was out on a walk-about and wound up at the Cascade Cove campground. You know checking out the sights and the sites ... Nice place but apparently it isn't cool to be wandering around with no leash, no license, no collar and no owner. Anyway someone at the campground called Animal Control and here I am waiting for a bail out. Call 250 443-1851 to make arrangements!

This little guy was picked up off hwy 3 and Sion Frontage Rd in Grand Forks this evening around 6 pm. Intact male a little skittish but very friendly

Whoa how cool is this? I've been wandering around all the acerages in Ponderosa Drive and Mountain View Road area you know down by the Laurier border and get this ... People keep putting out food and water for me. But someone must have called Animal Control and this guy came out and promised me a car ride. Well, he drove me straight to the dog pound. I've still got him fooled. I'm not wearing any tags and I've got no license. He doesn't know who I am. On the other hand I'm in the pound. Can my owner please call 250-443-1851 and arrange to bail me out?

UPDATE: Owner has rescued his dog from the pound.
Just out for a walk, except it was on Highway 3 when I was picked up and brought to the Vet in Grand Forks. They could not find my owner so they called Animal Control and now I’m in the dog pound. So if my owner would please call 250-443-1851 I’d sure like to go back home.

NEW UPDATE: The beautiful fellow has now arrived at the SPCA and will be put for adoption after getting a medical and shots update. Thanks to everyone who tried to help find the owner even though the owner could not be found.

UPDATE: dog is now resting at the Animal Pound and will be taken to the SPCA in Castlegar in a couple of days.

This fine fellow has been hanging out around the 11km up on North Forks Rd mark with a very nice neighbour for about four days. They have been trying to find the owner buthave not been successful. Unless the owner is found this guy will be going to the SPCA. If the owner or someone who knows the owner could call Animal Control at 250-443-1851 we will gladly return to the owner.

Well, I’m a bit far from home! A very nice lady picked me up about two miles up the North Fork Road. My tag says I am from Govan. Saskatchewan. That very nice lady then turned me over to Animal Control. I need help finding my owner. If anyone knows whom that might be please have them call Animal Control at: 250-443-1851

was spending a little time down at the Cascade border crossing by Christina Lake. I didn't have my dog tag on let alone a passport.
All I wanted to do was ask what my requirements were for dropping into the States for a little shopping trip. So you know what happened? The. border guard. calls Animal Control. The Animal Control guy comes and gives me a ride into Grand Forks and now I find myself sitting in the pound. I still don't know the regulations for international travel for dogs. Please call 25p-443-1851 and come and bail me out. Bring cash they don't take cards or chques. Bring my license and passport while you're at it.

I have tried hitchhiking into Grand Forks a lot times. I live out by Son Ranch and the Phoenix turn off. Today someone actually picked me up and drove me into town. Don't you think they should have dropped me at the pet store? No, they dropped me off at the Animal Control Office and now I'm in the pound. It wasn't the adventure I had anticipated. Now I need someone to bail me out. Please call the Animal Control guy at 250-443-1851 to arrange a bail hearing. He says I need a license while you're there!

This fine fellow was picked up on Silver Rd just hanging out. He found himself in the dog hotel and would love his owner to call 250443-1851 so he could go home.

UPDATE: owner has called in and the dog is now back home.

This little puppy was picked up around 16th st and was taken to the Animal Pound around 3:30pm Sunday Feb 19. He is pretty anxious to get home. Too bad he didn’t have a dog tag but if the owner could call Animal Control at 250 443 1851 we can arrange the transfer.

UPDATE: The dog owner has contacted Animal Contro and has arranged to take the dog back home.

Chocolate male lab, no collar, no tag, picked up February 15 around 10:00am by the Danshin border crossing. Friendly fellow who is enjoying a vacation in the Animal Control facilities. Can his owner contact us at 250.443.1851 so he can go home?

Well, apparently they don’t do any intakes for dogs at the hospital, at least not on Friday nights. The hospital staff called Animal Control and …. Well, I’m at the pound and waiting for someone to bail me out. Please call Animal control at 250-443-1851.

Well, I was down checking out a new set of all terrain tires and I think I found the perfect set.

The trouble is the nice guys down at OK Tire were worried I'd run out on the road and get myself hurt so they called Animal Control ... and me with no license or collar on ...

This little girl was picked up running around Hardy Mountain Rd Sun November 13. She is in good hand but is looking to have her owner call Animal Control 250-443 1851,so she can get back home. If the owner is not found she will be taken to SPCA in Castlegar on Thursday.

So I dropped by the Gand Forks High School today to see if I could audit a couple of courses on Human care but apparently they don't accept canine applicants. Back out in the great outdoors I got chilled and very hungry. Some very nice student to pity on me and called animal control. The Animal Control guy took me to the pound where I scored heat and lunch. Now I just want to go home. Can someone call the Animal Control guy at 250 443-1851 and arrange to come and get me?

Well here I am. I was taking a tour of the houses along Darcy Road to check out the best potential homes for "trick or treating" tomorrow night. I know, I should have a license and collar on but I can't remember if I even have one.
