Today was our year end potluck and jackpot trial. We also did team penning with geese.

Congrats to the Blue Team (Kaili, Molly and Nellie! For winning the Honk Honk Challenge! (Goose team penning)

Cheryl & Jet won HIT in the Jack Pot, Jason and Nowell went RHIT. It was a time and points run, and done on horseback sorta...

Despite Cheryl and Jason being "thrown from their horse" both had awesome runs.

Big points were deducted for not "hobbin" the horse. Unfortunately one horse didnt make it after being gripped by a dog at the end of a run.

Oh yeah.. and all the dogs had little cowboys assisting!

It was a little bit rainy, but the cooler temperatures made for a lovely weekend herding clinic.

We had a Border Collie, and Australian Cattle Dog, a Belgian Malinois, and a Dalmation working this weekend and they all showed great promise!
