1st generation hobby farm. Looking forward to making it multiple generations to come. We aim to naturally grow and raise, our own eggs, beef, veal and goat.

Our goal is to provide families with home grown meat, and eggs.

We had such great success last year on our sales of home grown turkeys, that we are looking at doing it again.
We are going to concentrate more on the small turkey with the Orlopp Bronze, or the Artisan Golds (we had last year) , If you are looking for a larger bird, 20+ then the giant whites are for you.
I am aiming to do some preorders to get an idea on how many chicks to purchase. Could you please message me if interested.
They will be raised as part of our LOOP fresh produce and grain fed.

Artisan Gold: Offers a robust gamey taste that is exotically diffferent from a traditional turkey
Giant Whites: for family on the large side.

Picked up our first meat order of veal. Very lean meat, as we dont believe in "fattening" up our animals. They get to enjoy life to the very end.

In order to ensure we have no winter calves Mr. Panda been locked up, now he is in the 1st paddock with the bottle babies, and out female that thought she was a goat. He was very unset that he could not fit thru the calve door to get some of that calve feed

Today we brought out first veal calf to abbitoire, I didnt think it would actually be this hard. We put in alot of care, devotion and love into our animals. This one came as a twin a few days old, we lost her brother in the middle of winter and almost lost her as well.
My goal on our farm is to honor, love and dignify the animals in their sacrafice. And today I am feeling that I have succeeded in my goal, as I understand the method of farming and raising our own food but it doesnt make the void feel any less.

This weekend we did 50 fence post to give the cattle a wonderful grazing pasture. The goats enjoyed some free range time as they help cut the grass.

After much discussion it was time to name Mom and Baby. Deciding that we will stick to a Gem theme for this Cow and her offspring. Sooo. Meet Onyx and her calf.. Black Diamond. Diamond is after her birthstone. I am also amazed at the meaning of a black diamond.

A little worry on the farm today, as we had yet to see the new calve nurse. So off to the feed store to pick up some colostrum supplement. Bottle made, out to the barn, to walk in on this::. Amazing feeling... Now to name her ..
