PSA :
I will be away the last week of June and the first 2 weeks of July... if your dog may need grooming around that time, please book a spot now as it may fill up quick squeezing around those 3 weeks !!

I will be able to answer calls and texts during the weeks in July! I will try to remind those of you coming in soon when I see you as your 2 months will fall around that time !

Unfortunately this also means that there will be no nail trim walk in day for the month of July, I apologize!

I have been asked to shave several double coated dogs already... As a reminder, DO NOT SHAVE YOUR DOUBLE COATED DOG !! Please do not ask me to, I will not do it. It does more harm then good. Instead bring them in for a deshedding !

STORY TIME !
This is Beau, he is a Portuguese water dog. The 2nd picture is when Beau first came to me...after he had been to a groomers. He was very anxious and sassy and was unable to have his head groomed. After a long, slow process i was able to clean him up enough to be presentable, though it was not perfect. Thankfully Beau has 2 dedicated parents that wanted to make sure he was good at the groomers. After discussing techniques and sending his mom and dad home with some homework and equiptment they were able to desensitize beau to the clippers and having his face held.

The first picture is of Beau today, after standing on the table like the good boy that he is (: today was his 3rd visit to me. This dog has come leaps and bounds and I couldn't be happier to be a part of his progress ! Isn't he just the cutest !? 😍

All it takes is a little time and patience ! I'm willing to do what I can to help you and your dog have a positive experience at the groomers !
