So with all the squash that has gone out I really wanted to share some tips so you can keep your squash for at least a few months.

Tip one. Do not store your squash until completely cured. They will not store and start to rot.

The best way to do this is leave them in the sun for 7-10 days and make sure the stems are completely dry. Test to make sure the skins are cured by trying to puncture the skin with your fingernail. If it goes in they aren’t ready yet. Cure till the skins are hard.

Oliver’s squash is almost all harvested with a bumper crop. Message us now if you would like a bag. 50lbs for $25 or 20lbs for $10. We also have pie pumpkins for $2 ea or larger pumpkins for $3.
