Here is Jam Jam, he is a cute little Newfoundland pony. It’s a first at 2R Ranch to work with this breed and we are thrilled to discover it. He is here just to be lightly started on ground work for now.

This young 4yo Qh is half brother to some of our pickup horse first time seeing broncs and he worked perfectly like a good old pickup horse !
Ce jeune poulain quarter horse de 4 ans est demi-frère avec certains de nos pickup horse, la première fois qu’il a vu des chevaux sauvages et il a travaillé parfaitement, comme un bon vieux pickup horse! Entraînement du 2R Ranch 👌🏼

We got this stunning 5 yo mare here for finition work, she’s a future rodeo horse and she’s very athletic and sweet, so nice to work with!
Exceptionnellement, nous avons pris cette magnifique jument QH de 5 ans a l’entraînement pour du travail de finition. Nous la reverrons certainement au rodéo dans le futur! Elle est très athlétique et adorable!

Last weekend our youngest horse made us really proud as he started his rodeo pickup horse career. It takes a lot of courage to get close to bucking horses, even tho we made a lot of preparation and tons of hours of training.

Nous sommes extrêmement fiers de notre plus jeune cheval qui a débuté sa carrière de pickup horse le week-end dernier. Même avec la meilleure préparation et des heures d’entraînement, il faut beaucoup de courage pour s’approcher de chevaux sauvages. Il l’a fait avec succès !

Our sweet boy Harry who is here for a “back in shape” program, this is a thoroughbred X Connemara guelding that we trained from his very beginning and for the past 3 years.
His little half Brother Harlan is now joining him to make his official debut under saddle.
