My name is Heather Matile and I have recently retired from a 30 year career in teaching, both in Toronto and in my new home in the Kawartha Lakes region of Ontario. The move to a 60 acre farm with my husband and four children has made it possible for me to pursue the passion I have for horses and working with children and teenagers. I can’t say enough about this week of campers! We went out riding in this crazy rainy day and nobody complained. They were fine about coming in early and missing their show and then we had to do a last-minute change and present our Annie Junior performance indoors when we hadn’t practised that. Everybody was totally fine with it. Not one whine!
With the exception of two days of adult camp next week, Camp Kanata 2024 is officially done for the season

An absolutely beautiful day! Final donut fishing day and we are prepping for Annie junior!
Families and friends! Our performance is on Friday starting at 12:00 rain or shine. Please arrive ten min early and please bring Lawn chairs and umbrella if needed
