We are fully accredited by the New Brunswick Veterinary Medical Association as an exclusive canine and feline practice. A satisfying “before and after” of a dental scale and polish we did recently! 🦷

Oral exams are a part of every annual health visit for your pet here at Countryside. If any dental disease is found (most commonly inflamed gums or ginigivits, tartar/calculus buildup, foul breath) a more comprehensive dental exam under anesthesia and a scale/polish may be recommended!

Regular dental procedures along with certain toys or diets that are formulated to help reduce/prevent calculus buildup on teeth can ensure your pet’s mouth stays healthy. Oral health is an important part of their whole health!!
Ask us about having a dental performed at your pet’s next annual exam! 🐶🐱🩺

Happy Monday!
Ace the 3month old Boxer visited us for the first time today to get his second round of vaccines. His feet wouldn’t stop dancing 💃🏻 and his tail wouldn’t stop wagging - it’s never a bad morning when a new puppy or kitten comes into the clinic! 🥰

Our holiday hours for the next couple of weeks are as follows:

🌟 CLOSED Saturday Dec 23rd - Tuesday Dec 26th
🌟 OPEN Wednesday Dec 27th - Friday Dec 29th, 8am-5pm. We will have limited staff available on these days; scheduled appointments will not be available but someone will be here for medication/food pickups and to answer our phones!
🌟 CLOSED Saturday Dec 30th - Monday Jan 1st
🌟 OPEN Tuesday Jan 2nd, back to regular hours.

We ask that if you are in need of a medication or food refill that you please get in touch with our office ASAP!!

This is what an ear mite infestation looks like microscopically. To us it commonly looks like debris in the ear but as you can see it is much more than that! Cats are more likely to have an infestation, but on the very rare occasion a dog may also have one. Luckily for this kitty we were immediately able to treat him and he should be feeling much more comfortable very soon! Sorry to ruin the party fellas, but you aren't welcome here...
