Our senior advanced camp (with a few additions) took a day trip to Wolfe Island today to learn about cattle sorting from Rob White at Wild Winds Ranch. We had lots of fun and learned a bunch too.

It’s funny, as we watch our children get older I am amazed how we cycle through being frustrated parents and then being so damn proud of these human beings we are trying our best to raise.
As we both work full time jobs off the farm, today is the day that it really makes my heart happy as I drove in the field on lunch break to drop ice cream off and here is Laney stacking bales, Hanah raking and Tanner baling. These kids always willing to take on new responsibilities on the farm, and Rob is always so good to take the time to teach them what they want to learn.
My friend said it’s like an ‘AHA’ moment, as parents we just pray we are doing and saying the right things and then days like this just makes us so proud and gives us a hint of reassurance that we might be doing an ok job at this parenting gig…..day by day right😉 Rob White
