Expo just keeps getting better and better. . . Yesterday Junior Champion in the Red and Whites and today Clarkvalley were part owners of the Junior Champion in the Holsteins with 𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙚 𝘼𝙡𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙝 owned with our great partners, Kevin Doeberiener, Lindsay Bowen, Pat Conroy and the Osinga family.

Then. . . .Leah was named Supreme Junior Champion with Milksource A Tierney-Red-ET , (Red & White Junior Champion), Clarkvalley, Pierre Boulet and Jeff & Jim Butler coming in as Reserve Supreme Junior Champion. . .

Thanks to all our crew who have made this possible for the second day running.

Yesterday 60 4-H members from across the province of Ontario participated in the 2nd OSD Future Fitters Competition, Huge Thanks must go out to our hosts and major sponsors for the event, Perrinridge Farms, for providing the first class facilities and the impeccably well trained heifers-We know this doesn't happen overnight and has taken weeks of preparation and we cannot begin to express our appreciation to you.
Thank-you Ted, Vicky , Kelly and Emma.
Competitors all participated in their clipping divisions, having benefitted from demonstrations on washing (thanks to Sierra Empey and Clarissa McCallum), Hoof trimming (thanks to Greg McLean and Claire Swale) and clipping (thanks to Wes Haggins and Nolan Allardyce)
Also special thanks to Richard Osbourne, our judge for the clipping competition, Jenn Charlton, Colin Allardyce and Val Jones for helping the day run smoothly.

Everyone took home a bag of goodies, consisting of Calf feed and a Cow/Heifer weigh tape-Grand Valley Fortifiers, ExcelMin-John Martin, Keychain-Upper Grand Vets, Halters courtesy of Farmers Depot and Perrinridge Farms and a $20 Gift card from Parion Nutrition.

Finally huge thanks to our sponsors. Ontario Dairy Youth Trust Fund, Ontario Joint Dairy Breeds, Jersey Ontario, Clarkvalley Holsteins without their financial support events like this couldn't take place.

Thank you to all the buyers and consigners at today’s Clarkvalley Sale. We would like to thank each and every one of you for your contribution towards making it such a great day.

The high seller was Karnation Video Melisandre the Sr 2 yr old Jersey that sold on choice. Congratulations to Vierra Dairies who purchased Melisandre for $83,000.

The sale average was $8,850 with 100% clearance.
