Uncle Thor is on the mend! Insulin injections are no problem. The biggest challenge has been getting a cat with no appetite to eat on a schedule. After almost a week of messy hand feeding wet food every 12 hours, he caught on and started eating his usual dry food on command. The TK boys aren't freaked out by him anymore... I'm sure the diabetes made him smell weird, not to mention the smell of hospital. Normal interactions, normal behavior, normal appetite. It's such a relief. We were really thinking we're going to lose our two oldest cats within days of each other and we'd be left with three goblins regressing to their feral roots and a giant ridiculous floof goof.
