Do you use a metal crate? If so, I just need to pass on a little warning, as I learned the hard way. Puppies will bite the metal bars and can get their jaws caught, and not be able to release from the metal bars. This happened to me with our Luna when she was a puppy. It also happened with one of our puppies Luna had, but we were able to help her right away! I felt compelled to share this as I know many puppy owners purchase the metal crates because they are more open and allow the puppy to see more. However, I have purchased a plastic crate for Honey, as I don't want to ever hear those cries again. I also googled it, and there are some dogs who were so stuck that the metal bars had to be cut away to free the puppy. Please keep this in mind if you are planning on leaving your puppy in a crate for a couple of hours unattended.
