Tall, dark, handsome Ferdeaux brings North American breeders a distinctive mix of Europe’s best bloodlines. This elegant, noble stallion displays abundant canter and supple, powerful gait mechanics. With his potent genetics, he has already proven to be a sire of outstanding performers in a competitive market.

The KWPN, Oldenburg and Hanoverian approved stallion Ferdeaux (Bordeaux preferent x Ferro preferent) campaigned with much success at the top sport level before retiring to full time stud duties.

Some of the highlights of his career:
* Reserve Champion of the 2015 PAVO Cup Finals
* Champion of the stallion competition finals in the M level class at ‘s Hertogenbosch.
* Won his Prix St. Georges debut with 74.1%.
* With Renate van Uytert Ferdeaux he delivered more success with consistent high scores to 76.2% at Prix St. Georges.

Progeny:
Ferdeaux has been an extremely popular stallion with Dutch breeders, with more than 500 offspring born in Holland.

The stallion Las Vegas (damsire Wynton) is his most famous son to date. Las Vegas won his 2019 KWPN stallion performance test with a spectacular 90 points. In 2021 he easily won the KWPN stallion competition final with a score of 89 points. He went on to become World Cup Finalist in 2021, 2022 en 2023. During the KWPN stallion selections in 2023, Las Vegas made a fantastic impression with his offspring. Several of his sons were selected for the second viewing and invited for the performance test. With his new rider Diederik van Silfhout, he impressed the crowd during the KWPN Stallion show and in May 2024, they became National Champion at Small Tour.

Breeding recommendation:
Ferdeaux is a prepotent stallion whose good qualities are strongly inherited. In particular his canter, which was rated a 9 by the inspectors, comes through to his offspring. Ferdeaux can be expected to add blood, good temperament, movement technique and good use of the hind leg. He is ideally paired with long-lined mares.
