Looking for a change , laurendale is looking to add some more select clients. Private boarding facility, family atmosphere, great footing, lots of turnout in larger paddocks. We cater to individual needs and want the best for both horse and rider.

So as the holidays approach I would like to invite everyone at Laurendale Equestrian and of course extended family and friends outside the barn to take part in a new tradition of “ giving “ this holiday season. Last couple years I have personally helped a family in need over the holidays season. This year I thought what a great idea to make this a barn family event. I have selected 2 family’s both single mothers with girls. Family #1 is two sisters living together with 3 girls ages 2.3.4 ( this is a family I helped last year as well ) . These are the items that would make their holiday season brighter . 4t 5t pull ups , toilet paper , laundry detergent , meat , snacks , the girls love to play with ; baby dolls , barbies , horses , and playDoh, Walmart gift cards also good for use. Family #2 is a single mother with 2 girls ages 5 and 8 , what they would really love is to get out of bunk beds and into single beds. I was thinking of maybe doing a little bedroom makeover for the girls ( so this would be maybe more on the donation side of things to put money together to purchase beds and materials ) . Any little bit helps , please join me in giving these families a happy and memorable holiday. Let me or Kim Metcalf know what you would like to do for these families so we can keep track and make sure not to many multiples are purchased 🙂 I do have a Costco membership so will be using that to buy some of the necessities in Costco size. Well as much as I love riding outdoors, up north we have no choice but to close our outdoor ring and start riding indoors full time. One good thing is I still have beautiful footing indoors which will be great to ride on all winter, thanks to Rob Kcmar 🙂 .

Laurendale has a few open stalls for select training and show clients. We offer lesson packages to full service training packages, specializing in hunters / jumpers. Located north Oshawa / blackstock area we are close to anyone in the Durham region. Also farm is just 5min north of 407 at enfeild rd.

So thrilled with this young 4yr old large pony prospect in his very first horse show ever. I think he has such a incredible future ahead of him . Piloted by his owner Joanna fast who did such a incredible job instilling confidence in him and sticking to the plan. Winning both o/f classes and 2nd in the hack. Stall to ring, this pony is going to be something special.

Went for a little walk around the farm today. Over 200 acres of hacking at the new farm , so good for the horses to get out of the ring and explore.

Welcome to Laurendale Equestrian!

We are located just north of Oshawa conveniently 5 minutes north of the 407 on 120 acres. The facility offers a 19 stall main barn bedded on shavings. A 80x180 indoor ring with new fibre footing , 90x200 sand ring, lots of on and off property hacking. We offer full service training board geared towards individuals who would like to compete at gold level competitions in Canada and the USA. Laurendale also offers a sales program for those who are wanting green horses brought along and sold, or for the competition horses looking for a new partner .
