Today is a day to Remeber and give our respect to all that gave there lives.

This is an award winning poem from Kieran Watson from Grande Prairie alberta. Inspired by his grandfather who served in world War one and his uncle who served in Afghanistan.

The Long Watch

I have bled from Flanders to Panjwaii
Fought across the trench of time
I’ve defeated the evil of tyrants
That had no reason or rhyme

I’ve marched to the call of colours
I’ve marched to the sound of the guns
Over the beaches and into the caves
For the peace of our daughters and sons

Yet I am more than flesh or bone
I am every free breath a baby takes

I'm crying!!! 😭😭😭❤️❤️

We had a boy come in and really want one of our hamsters so we sent him home with information about hamsters and their care needs. He went home and did even more research and made a whole power point for his parents to convince them into letting him get the hamster with his own money. He came in the other day to get his hamster who now named Alfredo. They already have a great bond so he had to come back to give me a drawing him and Alfredo did together.

This is why I love my job😍❤️❤️❤️❤️😭
