CLOSED BUSINESS - Large Bernedoodle & Newfypoo Breeding program
It is with a bit of sadness that I write these words, but I am so proud of the furball legacy we are leaving behind! With the impossibility of getting proper workers (to handle puppies!!!) and the current economic situation... It was clear that the well being of our future pups would somehow be affected, so I decided to stop breeding! Thanks to all the great families who are now part of the Big Doodles Mania!!!
ADOPTED - We have 3 beautiful "Whitties" available at 15 weeks old. They are Bernedoodles F1b that will be around 65-80lbs. Highly socialized with cats and children, these girls are sponsored by Velcro! Our breed line is being used for therapy/service/alert dogs and we have many dogs over 7 years to prove how great the Bernese mixed with a Standard Poodle can be!

ADOPTED - We have one last male pup available at 6 months old already with a good basic training done. Mr Brownhead is a cool Bernedoodle F1b and will be as big as the one in the picture! A bit big for trucker transport so you will have to pick up in the Moncton area!
We also have smaller puppies going to NFLD... so if you would like to cut your transport cost down, there is 2 or 3 pups going to the Rock looking confirm a ride at this time!

Kinda crazy to write these words but this actually are last litter ever... I am closing the breeding program and moving on to other projects that require me to be more mobile! It was a great adventure and I really enjoyed every puppy like family and still do! Sadly the last 2 years have taken away the workforce and changed the adoption process in the worst way! I always said I would do this as long as I was happy...

According to the top pet immunologist (aka vaccine expert) in the world, Dr. Ronald Schultz, Ph.D. â â Annual revaccination provides no benefit and may increase the risk for adverse reactions.â
What the heck are adverse reactions (or side effects)?
Well according to the other rock star pet immunologist Dr. Jean Dodds:
âSide effects from dog vaccinations can occur anywhere from instantly up to several weeks or months later. Vaccines can even cause susceptibility to chronic diseases that appear much later in a dogâs life (Dodd, 2001).
Severe and fatal adverse reactions include:
â˘Susceptibility to infections.
â˘Neurological disorders and encephalitis.
â˘Aberrant behavior, including unprovoked aggression.
â˘Vaccines are linked to seizures. Distemper, parvovirus, rabies and, presumably, other vaccines have been linked with poly neuropathy, a nerve disease that involves inflammation of several nerves. (Dodds,2001)â
SO HOW LONG EXACTLY DOES YOUR PETâS VACCINE LAST?
According to the recommendations of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), (basically the dudes who set the standards for the vets): âAmong healthy dogs, all commercially available [core] vaccines are expected to induce a sustained protective immune response lasting at least 5 yr. thereafterâ
Hereâs the breakdown of the core vaccines from Dr. Ronald Schultz:
Minimum Duration of Immunity for Canine Vaccines:
Distemper- 7 years by challenge
Parvovirus â 7 years by challenge
Adenovirus â 7 years by challenge
Canine rabies â 3 years by challenge
The moral of the story here, if you have no idea when your pet is due or has been vaccinated, then just run a titer test and this will confirm if you are due, rather than over-vaccinate your poor pet, setting the stage for future problems!
Whatâs a titer test?
A titer test (pronounced tight-errr) is a laboratory or in-house veterinary test measuring the existence and level of antibodies (necessary to fight off disease) in your petâs blood. Basically, itâs a test that will tell you whether or not you actually need to vaccinate your pet.
Itâs also super useful when making a decision about vaccinating a pet with an unknown vaccination history, or for determining if pets have received immunity from vaccination.
Vaccinating your pet is super important so donât lose the overall message here: VACCINATE, JUST DONâT OVER-VACCINATE!
According to Dr. Dodds:
âVaccines have achieved many important benefits for companion animals, and has saved more animals' lives than any other medical advance.â
