The lovely Daisey was in yesterday for her spay and her lovely owner sent us this adorable picture of her giving her best puppy dog eyes in hopes of getting some breakfast. ❤️❤️ We are happy to report that she was able to fill her belly with some dinner once she got home 🥰🥰

✨For the last three years we’ve have decided to give back to the local community by providing a complimentary dental procedure to a pet in need. Each year we have posted on social media asking for nominations and boy you guys delivered - you knocked our fuzzy Christmas socks off! ✨

Giving back to the community has always been a passion of Dr. Barrett and the team, so here we are once again! A Smile for Christmas nominations 2024 are officially open.

Our pets’ dental health is essential but so often dental services are thought to be unobtainable. It may be that you have rescued older dogs, realized the importance of preventative dental and teeth brushing a little too late or it’s just not in the budget (It’s okay, we don’t judge).

We are hoping to find a pet with severe dental disease, so we can make a difference in their lives and give them (and hopefully their pet parent) a smile for Christmas. If you would like to nominate someone with a pet in need please fill out the form below (there’s also a link in our bio). We will close the form at 11:59 pm on the 20th of December and will be hand-selecting our recipient shortly after for a dental procedure between Christmas and New Year’s.

It could be yourself, your parents, grandparents, or a local friend… get your thinking caps on!

We love watching your pets grow! Bruno was in recently for a neuter and we were all giggling at his size now versus when we first saw him at 12 weeks old. He is such a lovely giant goofball and we hope to continue to see him for years to come!

We’re so excited to announce that we are now using Otto! This awesome service will allow you to access your pet’s records, request prescriptions, manage appointments and more! The best part is that you can do all of it right from their app! We will have some interruptions with our texting service while we make this transition so from October 16-22, please call us instead. We don’t want to miss anything from anyone!

Lilly and Lou came in to be spayed and neutered this week and the whole team was hopping with excitement to snuggle with these adorable buns. They were so very sweet and received so many pets and kisses throughout the day. It’s always an especially great day when there’s bunnies in the clinic!

We love it when your littles want to learn!
Izzy confidently walked through the front door a couple of weeks ago and informed the entire team that she wants to be a vet when she grows up. She then helped us throughout the appointment by taking her pup’s weight, temperature, checking his teeth and listening to his heart. Her and Dr. B both agreed that her puppy was in tip-top shape and very very cute!
If you have a young one who is interested in what we do, please feel free to bring them to your appointment! We love to take opportunities to teach and show them new things ❤️❤️❤️

The best part about our clinic is that you never know who’s going to walk through the front door! George came in to visit us this week for a general health check and had all of us squealing with joy. The entire team agreed that he is certainly one fine swine. Needless to say, everyone had a ham of a time and he was showered in lots of hogs and kisses. Alright, I’m done with the pig puns! Have a wonderful weekend everyone and we’ll see you on Monday for another exciting week 🤩🤩

If you’ve been in the clinic over the past couple of weeks there’s a good chance you’ve met the newest addition to our team - Kate! Kate is our newest RVT and has been fitting in perfectly with the rest of our crazy crew. She has 4 cats, 2 dogs, 30 goats, 2 pigs, 2 ducks and 2 horses. She is a crafty gal and enjoys doing leatherwork in her very very limited spare time. We’re all looking forward to continuing to work with her and her getting to know our amazing clients. 💖💖
