Shelley brings to the Kootenays a wealth of experience operating a successful dog grooming business in the Lower Mainland from 2010 to 2017. During her time in the Lower Mainland Shelley's business thrived from her many loyal customers, and from the referrals her customers and many local veterinarians sent her. Shelley recently moved back to the Kootenays to the home she grew up in and to the area
she loves so much. Shelley attended and received her certification for Professional Pet Stylist at Western Dog Grooming School in Maple Ridge, BC. She completed the program with top marks on all of her in class practical tests, written exams and assignments along with all of her written Canadian Professional Pet Stylists Certification exams which include Non-Sporting, Sporting, Terrier and Salon Technician. Shelley is a proud member of the Canadian Professional Pet Stylists Association, and has received her certification for Canadian Pet Stylist Technician. Shelley has also received training in Pet First Aid, flea control, and oral hygiene. Shelley’s inspiration for becoming a Professional Dog Groomer is her love and passion for all animals and for her 4 sweet loyal family dogs. Bathing with a customized shampoo and a coat conditioner (All shampoos are natural premium quality and may include premium deep cleaning and conditioning, coat whitening, soothing chamomile and oatmeal or a hypo-allergenic formula)
Brush out tangles and/or undercoat removed
Hand drying
Nails trimmed
Ears cleaned
Customized Hair Cut and Style complete with a hand scissor finish
