Bonfire is still waiting for his FURever home.....could it be with you?
This sweetheart has been in foster with Joni and her family for a few months now. He loves playing with his best cat friend Chewie during the day, but really loves affection from humans when he's relaxing in his cozy bed. This video was shot this morning!

Bonfire loves being petted and having his tummy rubbed when he is relaxed in his bed.
When he is out playing with his cat friend Chewie, he's more into 'playtime' mode - so that isn't his favourite time for handling.
Bonfire purrs up a storm when he gets the head rubs....
Bonfire's crate is set up in his foster home, but the door is open for him to come and go as he pleases.
And baking....she makes THE BEST Biscuits!

Sandy lives with her amazing foster Peter up in Nanaimo. She is so loved and well cared for! What a lucky girl!

An adorable update from adopter Elizabeth on our sweet Auntie Pesto's kitten Tiramisu (or SuSu - as she is commonly called at home) who went home in late 2023:
"She's doing so well! She's very attached to me. She's so cuddly and and sweet and starting to meet the other cats, who are being very patient with her"
Tiramisu (now SuSu) loves watching the snow fall! Isn't this adorable? I think the best part is when she looks back into the room and up to the ceiling as if she’s wondering “how come nothing is falling in here?”

This CATurday, as part of our 'Love is in the air....adopt a BONDED PAIR' promotion, let's introduce you to Charlotte and 'Kitten Mom':
Both of these gorgeous cats came into our care as part of our colony management work in 2023. Charlotte, the long haired girl, was horribly matted and underweight. Although she displayed fear-based aggression, we gave her time to learn that living in a foster home with people was a good thing. She LOVES to be brushed!
'Kitten Mom' came into our care as a kitten (estimated 5 months old) and gave birth to 4 kittens on her first night in foster. We gave her space and placed her in a quiet foster home where she would feel safe and could care for her kittens (our Insect Litter). Once Kitten Mom's kittens were weaned and then adopted, we placed her in the same foster home with Charlotte.
