I don't post pics of anything that hasn't left the shop, although these have been done for months, they just left the shop today to a happy customer. They were found locked up, so I mounted them that way as well. Very cool project. I love doing birds.

Very proud to announce that I have successfully completed both the Boone & Crockett as well as the Pope & Young official scorers courses. I'll be submitting my name via my local SK Wildlife Club to also be added as an Official Measurer for Henry Kelsey. Big thanks to Heath Dreger of HK for doing all of the legwork and organizing to facilitate these courses up here in Canada.

Hard to believe the black one had multiple volleyball sized holes from birds before it was grabbed by the trapper. Told em I'd take a look and see if it was salvageable. Close examination and lining up hair patterns and got it to look pretty decent. If it wasn't missing an ear, you probably could not tell!!

Torn velvet mule deer buck on a custom built pine and hemlock base/habitat and pedestal via mouth mount. Another interesting and super fun project. This was originally a full sneak form from that was altered and custom carved to fit this deer and cape. Turned out great.
