Fun in Agility Level 1. Off leash, following a set course.
Super fun run with my Agility level 1 class today. 0ff leash work!
A short interview Sarah and I did this morning to promote dog training awareness.
Each graduate laid a track for their dog, dropping something that was scented of them in the middle of the track. Then we played track your human. The dogs did not watch the track being laid. This pup gave the best smiles when she found the scent and her human. We will be running Intro to Scent Detection again in January at Canine Addiction. Please sign up directly with them!
In this video, our graduate is giving us a great “down” as her main indicator. The scent is hidden under the frisbee so she has to use her nose, not her eyes.
Yesterday’s scent class graduates. I am going to post three videos, one for each grad. This pup is searching for our class scent and indicating when it is found. He has developed a great nose indication and I love his little tail wag when he finds the scent.
Learning the touch cue/Aprende Tocar
I am learning to speak Spanish and this video is me teaching a touch cue; tocar en Español. Zihua likes to sit down on her walks and refuse to go further. We are adding a touch cue to help keep her focussed on her people and moving forward on her walks. She is very food motivated and likes to move around to earn her reward!
Fun this morning playing ball while being serenaded by the builders across the street. They are playing music while they work and sometimes they sing. They are really good singers!
We had fun playing with the agility tunnel today at daycare! #dogswelove #doggydaycare #sancarlos
