Compressed bales are superior to standard square bales as they have been blended and tested to meet specific feed values, fully dried, air dusted to remove weeds/seeds/debris, and have been run thru a metal detector all prior to bailing. They take up 1/3 the space in the shed vs standard 2 string bales.
