These two are exceptionally sweet pair that consistently brighten my day with their special bond, and their endearing personalities make them an unmatched example of the qualities we seek in a best friend. 🐶❤️

🐕 Oreo 🐶

This cutie came in for a bath and tidy! He wanted to see the world again as his face grew out quite fast!

Oreo doesn't love dryers near his face, which, I mean, who does? But he tolerated this appointment very well and came out looking fresh and ready to embark on his next adventure.

This timid, kind soul of a dog came in for a visit today.
It is always an absolute delight to see her on the schedule.
I'm always happy to give her snuggles when she comes in.

This handsome fellow came in for his last bath and nail trim before he heads out for a couple of winter months!

He isn't always stoked about the process, but I think he gets a little better every time. He even posed a little more for this picture, so I'll take the win 🏆 😉

This pretty girl loves almost everything and everyone, except maybe not always her grooming. But guess what? She was an absolute angel during her appointment!

As soon as she hopped onto the table, she knew exactly what was going to happen. We gave her a complete fall makeover before the snow turned her into a giant snowball!❄️✂️

🎉Introducing Roxy*🎉🐶❤️

Roxy is a delightful young dog currently under the care of the wonderful North West Animal Shelter.

Having had the privilege of meeting her on a few occasions, I can attest to her exceptional temperament and affectionate nature.

Roxy exhibits a strong affinity for food, which presents an excellent opportunity for positive reinforcement and training.

Based on my limited information, she is approximately two years of age and displays a playful and energetic demeanor. She also appears to interact well with other canine companions as I witnessed her having fun play with another dog.

If you believe Roxy would be a suitable addition to your family, I encourage you to contact the North West Animal Shelter to initiate the adoption process.

Oh my, Sky 💓🐶

Where do I even start?!

This girl has given me a run for my money, but after all these appointments of gaining her trust, we have been working back and forth with her and gaining some ground but nothing was feeling super ground breaking. But! Here we are.

I could not be more thankful for her owners being very trusting and patient as we worked with them and Sky to get to this point.

I don't know how many of you remember the original posts of when Sky first came to me. But for a little back story for the newcomers , Sky first came to me over a year ago and was terrified of me and of grooming.
In her previous life before coming to her amazing home now, she didn't live the happiest and most loving life.
With the love and patience of her Pawrents, we have been working consistently to gain her trust and get her to want to be groomed. It has not been a quick or super easy process.

Well, we hit the biggest milestone of all tonight. Infact, so many milestones.

This was her first time she was on the table for the entire groom, as before it made her too nervous and she would go on for a minute and then flip and we would do what we could on the floor.
This was the first time we were able to do a full groom. I mean, we have done light trims and desheds to help her maintain the fur, but we have never got her to this point.

From brushing to nails to bathing, drying, and trimming and deshed and more deshed, she did it all!

The immense joy, relief, and pride I felt when we were able to complete this groom

I can't even begin to explain how absolutely beautiful this girl is!

Can you believe she is over 10 years old?! She runs around after her groomer like a puppy!

This girl is a singer and a howler during her grooming, but we will take it all! She is just such a sweet, amazing doggo. It is just a pleasure to know her, let alone help her live a healthy life. 💓

This good boy is just a little softy 💙 He comes in and is completely chill, not a peep or anything out of him. He just gives off the "I know why I am here, let's get it done so I can be fresh and handsome" vibes.

Oh, Willow!

This fiery, energetic, crazy, and completely lovable little gal 🐶! We love having this girl visit the shop regularly for a good deshed and clean-up!
She is so much fun and never stands still for a picture, but we caught her for one with her ears up—as you can tell, that tail was still wagging, though.

This senior gal is just about the sweetest doggo you will ever meet. 😍

I recently had the pleasure of meeting her for the first time, and she is just a dream. I swear she tries her very best to impress you with how well she behaves throughout the grooming process. 😇

We gave her tons of cuddles and snuggles throughout the appointment, as she can also give you one look, and it just melts you. 🥰

This beautiful little gal loves to talk and gets better and better with each appointment. I really love seeing dogs trust the process and get used to their groomer.
Once they get more comfortable seeing you, it makes everything smoother and easier on both the groomer and the dog!

We have had some real cuties in the shop this week!

Let's kick it off with handsome Frankie

This boy is a beautiful 4 month old boy. Who rocked his first introduction to grooming.

He did great with his nails and bath time and drying! Next time, we will try a little more and ease him into a full grooming.

The key to these appointments is showing them it's normal and it's not a punishment or a bad thing.

Go and get your flea and tick preventative for your animals! I promise, it is worth it!!!! The first time I found it this year was as earlier in March. And now, within the last week, I have had more dogs with it. It is going to be a bad season for it. I highly recommend getting your animals on it sooner rather than later 🐾❤️
