The winning bidder of the Wild Card then has choice on all of the sale foals and the chosen foal is then removed from the sale and becomes the property of the winning bidder.

We feel that Cedar is a great representation of our breeding program.
This c**t will stand strong in halter, has the qualities and pedigree of a potential herd sire and the movement to make a great hitch horse.

It’s about time we post some highlights from the World Clydesdale Show!

We were very proud that there were three Boulder Bluff geldings standing in the top 5 of the Registered 4 Years Old and Over Gelding Class.

•Boulder Bluff Lad, owned by Gord & Fay Campbell of Alberta
•Boulder Bluff Jax, shown by Steve Gregg of Ontario
•Boulder Bluff Hummer, who still calls Boulder Bluff home

Lad later went on to become Reserve World Champion Gelding and Hummer earned the title of Best Bred & Owned gelding in the class.

I just got off the phone with a man from Alabama that purchased a filly foal from us a couple of years ago.

They were just sitting down for their Thanksgiving meal and he wanted to quickly phone to tell us how thankful he was that we were honest when we sold him the filly.
He said in today’s world, that just doesn’t happen as much as it should.

He reminded me that, at the time, he was looking for a very specific type of horse. He wanted a “good black filly that would grow to be a monster.”

He stated that she has grown to be everything he had ever hoped for.

This call made my day!

We always try our hardest to match potential buyers with the horse that we feel will best suit them and we LOVE to hear about when it works out that way.

To all of our southern friends, Happy Thanksgiving!

Here’s a clip of Boulder Bluff Monteigo and her 2022 c**t by Towerview Major Attraction.

Monteigo claims the title of “biggest hoof on the farm.” Although, some of our hitch geldings could probably give her a run for her money on that now.
For a middle-aged woman, she still moves pretty good, though.

We brought this little guy and his mama in today (through the crackling leaves, in the crazy wind) because they are off to the vet clinic tomorrow for bloodwork and paperwork, on the foal, for an export later this month.

Congratulations to all hitches competing at the Six Horse Hitch Classic Series World Finals!

We’d especially like to wish good luck to the exhibitors mentioned below who are showing Boulder Bluff bred & raised horses in their hitches, as they compete in this incredibly prestigious event.

🥇Boulder Bluff Dayna fills the left wheel position for the Chupp & Miller families of Country Road Clydesdales.
We broke Dayna as a three year old mare, then she went to her new home in Michigan where she lived for two years and she now has spent the past few months living in Indiana.
In Gary Miller’s interview on the Classic Series Redrive podcast, he said that his wheel team are each 18.2hh. I have a picture in my phone of Dayna standing in the cross ties and I had wrote on it that she was a three year old mare already standing over 18 hands high, so I don’t question Gary’s measurement of her.

🥇Boulder Bluff Sawyer fills the left lead position of the South Creek Clydesdales hitch for Tim and Mary Myers of Ohio. He is a new addition to their hitch and we are so happy that he is working well for them.

🥇Boulder Bluff Kaos, a fifth generation Boulder Bluff gelding, is also a member of the South Creek Clydesdales hitch but has to sit the finals out this year. We hope to see him back with the bunch soon!
