It absolutely breaks our heart to be making this post once again 💔. Hickory still has not found his forever family, it is unreal! Who would not want to have this loveable handsome pup join their family?!? Unfortunately in all of our attempts of trying to find his people, he has not had a single meet/greet or any potential interest turn out in his favour since he has been with us. Our team is really hoping to find his family sooo soon,as he deserves that- nevermind having a home to call his own. Hickory deserves the best and nothing less; he is an incredible pup.

Once again we are asking this amazing community to share, spread the word as much as possible about our sweet Hickory! It would mean the absolute world to us; lastly if you or anyone you know is interested in meeting Hickory we would love to hear from you ❤️

We are officially back open for business after our yearly deep clean. The kennel is so clean you could eat off the floor, well maybe not you, but your furry family members sure can. We took a few photos of the facility for those who have never used us before. Cannot wait for a summer full of fun.

Still looking for his forever home! PLEASE SHARE.

Our beloved sweet Hickory is still looking for his forever family, can you believe that?! Sadly this sweet boy has not had much interest or the opportunity to show off how much of a true sweetheart or good boy he is, it absolutely breaks our hearts 💔 Hickory is an absolute gem, and would make the most amazing four legged furry family member for anyone who is willing to give him the chance he truly deserves.

Please share this sweet boy, the more the word gets out the better chance he has to find his future forever home and family. If you or anyone you know is interested at all in meeting our sweet hickory, and potentially starting our adoption process we would absolutely love to hear from you.

One of our clients unfortunately has to rehome this beautiful guy. He is looking for an active person or family that has a bigger yard where Kai likes to spend his time. We held a talent show this evening!!
Now some are more skilled than others… BUT fun was had by all and lots of “you did amazing” treats were handed out and very much enjoyed. 🐾❤️

Thank you for all the happy birthday wishes. There are no words that could accurately describe how much happiness, love I felt looking through all the comments. I am so grateful to have found a second home and family within this job, I don’t know what life would be like without it. It has been a true honour to meet, take care and love on every single one of our guests that have come through our doors over the last few years. It’s one of the best places on earth, no doubt about that! So thank you again for all the birthday love.

Audi - She’s been in care for over 434 days. Loves other male dogs, loves to play outside, loves to snuggle and play with toys. No cats for me!

Summer: She’s been in care for 553 days. Can you believe it? Not good with cats, loves other male dogs, would be fine with kids as well. A very loving gal, and super social.

Flo: She’s been in care for 302 days. She’s a nervous girl to start but warms up very quickly! She’s good with male dogs, would be great with kids of all ages.

Cannon: He has been in care for 201 days. This handsome, friendly and adorable dude is good with other dogs and children. No cats for him either but he would love a large yard to call his own.

Barkley: Rounding off our last pal, named Barkley… who doesn’t bark! (Funny right?) Super dog social, super kind and snuggly and overall a very good boy. He’s been in our care for 371 days.

Bio: Hickory is a loving handsome young pup.
He is the one of the biggest cuddles bugs you will possibly ever meet; he loves to be loved. Since being with us he has come so incredibly far and has shown miraculous improvements in such a short amount of time. As he is still young we are working/teaching him the typical puppy manners but with how he smart he is, with time and consistency he shouldn’t having any problems being able to have them down pat. Hickory has been extremely successful with his socialization around other dogs, he very much enjoys having some dog pals that he can romp around with or simply just relax in the sunshine; usually finding a good stick or piece of wood to chew on. We believe that Hickory would be able to transition into a home with a wide range of different dog personalities, energy levels, ages, sizes and simply be happy having a buddy to keep him company. He is also known to be perfectly fine with having a cat company as well, keeps to himself and doesn’t bother them much or at all.

When it comes to meeting new people, hickory does not have a lot of experience in this aspect.
Despite that; we believe that if he is given a chance and opportunity to become comfortable with whomever his forever family may be, it will quickly become obvious on how much he loves his people once that trust/connection has been formed. He will shower you in cuddles, kisses, his big old smile, wagging tail and all the affection you could ever ask for or ever want. Hickory will be an amazing dog, friend and family member for whomever he ends up with!

We have amazing news ❤️
Our foster boy Cedar; has been adopted!!
He is now known as Bandit and is living his best life with his forever family. Everyone at BTH is so incredibly happy, joyful, excited, proud of how well this worked out. Bandit is so incredibly loved by his family already and could not be more thrilled that he has joined their home.
As much as this sweet boy is already missed around BTH, we know he is where he is meant to me and that is the most important part.

Our handsome foster boy Cedar has gone to his potential forever families home for a trial weekend stay! He has found an incredibly sweet and patient family who absolutely adores him. Our team is wishing him all the best this weekend, keeping all of our fingers/toes and “paws” crossed for him. ❤️

She is now joining our Pumpkin,Spice and Latte full time as she is all healed up from her spay surgery.

Bio: Cedar is a beautiful young pup who is still building his trust, confidence with people. Since arriving at the kennel our team has been actively working on his socialization with other dogs; to keep it short he has done amazing.
Cedar has been out with a large variety of different sized, breed and energy level dogs with no issues or concern of any kind. As he is a young pup he does love to find a buddy to romp around with to help get all the energy out but he is just as happy to chill out with the calmer pups and enjoy the sunshine. He has also been around our kennel cats and done perfectly fine with them as well, just keeps to his own; hasn’t really bothered them much.

When it comes to new people, he is still finding his way. He was not shown in his previous foster how wonderful having humans in his life can be. In result of this he is a little shy, nervous and lacks the confidence that a pup would normally have if was shown right off the start. In spite of his he has come miles since being with us, our hope he is will continue gaining that trust and confidence while with us; until he finds his forever home. Whomever his forever may be please realize he will need to be given time, compassion, understanding and the chance for him to become fully comfortable with you. If he is given this opportunity he will become mr.heart thief and will have yours in his paw. Cedar will become a best friend, companion and pup that anyone could truly ask for.
