To those that have messaged me re; grooming . . you haven't noticed my post at the beginning of the Pandemic, 4 years ago. I'm no longer taking on new clients. Apologies.

Dylan, the Black Lab cross, is a volunteer favourite. He is a young energetic pup who loves playing and interacting with people. He walks well on leash and is house and crate trained. He is looking for someone who will give him plenty of mental and physical activity so he doesn’t get into trouble. True to his breeding he loves the water and playing in the kiddie pool, especially on hot days.

He is estimated to be 1.5 years old and weighs about 25kg. And he is microchipped, neutered and has his core vaccination.

We are not recommending him for a home with young children and cats, at least initially, because of his high energy.

His ideal home would be:

- home with a fenced yard where he can get plenty of play time
- active family that is willing to take him on multiple walks a day and give him plenty of mental and physical activity
- family that will continue his positive reinforcement training

While a breeze can be refreshing, letting your dog hang out the window of a moving car is not a good idea. They could fall, jump, or be injured by trees or debris from another vehicle.
