Unfortunately, after several attempts to fix connection and landline issues I am left completely bewildered and speechless...
I have spoken to tech support several times, I had them come in, I even went as far as to switch providers.
This has corrected the constant connection issues and hiccups I have been having, however, it did not fix the landline issues infact it has made it worse...πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ
So, for reasons I do not understand and cannot seem to correct (even with the professionals) I sincerely apologize for all the inconveniences! πŸ™
I am working tirelessly to fix this issues as best as I can but unfortunately no success so far.πŸ˜”
We will have to switch to online bookings much sooner than anticipated. I truly apologize for all the confusion and technical issues! 😭

Unfortunately I had to change internet/phone providers and was unable to port the old number as planned...
Therefore,

My intent is to get rid of the landline service completely (it's not reliable or functional for me as it has been causing many issues and connection problems on a weekly basis, which is slowing things down even more... The landline is ready to retire and will no longer be available as of 2025)‼️

2. ‼️‼️I will NOT be answering ANY phone calls. I will ONLY be replying to landline messages that are left‼️‼️
This will only be done at the end of the day, if that (when i have time to do so)-
Therefore, landline response time will be very slow and will take anywhere between 24 to 48 hours for reply.

3.‼️‼️walk-in nail trims‼️‼️
Nail trims no longer need to be booked in by appointment (UNLESS it's a cat- then I would recommend a booked appointment to avoid possible cat/dog conflicts)

Tuesday 9am to 3pm✨️
Wednesday 9am to 3pm✨️

Friday 9am to 3pm ✨️
Saturday 9am to 1pm✨️
‼️‼️these are not our hours listed above- they are the WALK-IN NAIL TRIM times available every week‼️‼️

‼️(We are CLOSED Sundays and Mondays ALWAYS-πŸ™
We will temporarily be closed on some Thursdays for personal appointments at this time; at least for the summer, anyways- im hoping it wont be longer than that - my apologies in advanced!πŸ™)‼️

IF you need a specific time for nail trim that is outside the hours listed, please send us a Facebook message and we may be able to accommodate another time that works for you if our schedule can fit it in that weekπŸ™
Otherwise, you no longer need to book in your nail trims if it is within the hours listed above. 😊

Side note: ‼️ I am still not able to accept any new clients at this time and won't be able to for at least another year or two - if that‼️
Those that are on file are safe to stay
However,
In the comming weeks I will be going through files and taking clients off the "safe list" that have not been in for grooming in the last 12 months. (This pertains to grooms only - not nail trims)
This means, if you ARE a client with us but have NOT been in in over 11 months, you WILL be taken off the "safe list".
You and your pets mean a lot to me, and your pets care I take very seriouslyπŸ’œ

Unfortunately, our landline will be down as of this afternoon and will not resume until may 31st.
For any walk-in nail trims, please feel frees to stop in anytime between 8am & 4pm May 24th, 25th, or 28th – we will be closed otherwise but will resume to regular hours as of May 31st.
Please use the Facebook messenger system for any questions or booking times during this time as there is no guarantee that our landline will save any voicemail messages.

‼️‼️I would also like to write a friendly reminder that since I am still alone in shop, there is a wait time for bookings as well as a longer wait time at the moment due to β€œshedding season”. πŸ•πŸΆ
I am doing and trying my absolute best to accommodate and manage everything to the best of my ability; your patience is greatly appreciated. ‼️‼️

Lastly, with the internet/system being updated, there will be changes to be expected in the coming months ahead as I slowly transition into online bookings (and/or the use of Facebook messenger to book your future appointments) steering away from landline use completely.
This will be a slow process and I will still keep the landline for the next few months; however, you can expect the Quality Clips landline to permanently retire as of 2025.😎

As of March 1st 2024 there will be a price increase on most services.
(This excludes quick touch-ups such as nail trims, face trims, pad trims etc.)

This increase applies mostly to any doodles, poodles, cockers, or a mix with any of these breeds, as well as large breeds.

After careful consideration, the increase is aimed towards these breeds for the most part as their size, coat, and hairstyles vary drastically and my focus is to have fair pricing for everyone. Some of these breeds are not quite "up to par" with price as some are more work than others, thus some of these breeds, in which need a little more work or TLC, will have a price increase to match the allotted time slot required to have them groomed.

**IMPORTANT - MANY CHANGES ARE ON THE WAY!**

There are many changes that will be made at Quality Clips so please take note!

First off, due to medical reasons, we will be transitioning to a lighter work load.
As of September 2023, we will be down to only one in the shop, thus wait times may be longer than usual.
With that said, as of September 2023, cats and dogs that need 2 people to have done, will need to find another grooming salon to fit their pets special needs.
For Large and XL dog breeds, I am still able to do, considering their behaviors. Some L & XL only need a hand to put in the tub, thus if this applies to you: if you are able to guide your dog with a leash as I carry them in I will still be able to groom your gentile giant. However, if you are not able to take the 30 seconds to do so, it would be best to find another grooming salon who has more than one groomer in shop. Sorry! πŸ™

Secondly, due to inflation there will be a price increase as of July 1st 2023.
Every dog is different and requires different needs and haircuts – therefore a lot of changes are made for those needing extra TLC as they need more time in order to groom safely and comfortably.
Listed below is a break down of what is, or isn’t changing in price πŸ‘‡

Prices that are NOT changing =
*Nail trims
*Quick touch up services
*Small & medium dogs that get short (none fancy) shave downs.

Prices that ARE subject to a price increase=
*Doodles, poodles, or any cocker/spaniel breeds (or breeds mixed with any of these listed breed)
*Large & XL breeds
*Bad behaviors and/or aggression
*Haircuts at half inch length or longer - and/or fancy cuts.

Do keep in mind that the price increase varies depending on how many boxes are checked βœ”οΈ above in the breakdown of prices that are subjected to an increase.

We hope that you can find understanding in this difficult decision, and that our quality and care for your pet(s) makes up for the unfairness of inflation. πŸ™

I just wanted to clarify a few things on certain topics.

#1 – Although we are NOT accepting new clients at this time, I would like to clarify that if you are an EXISTING CLIENT (meaning, if you have or had pet(s) groomed with us before) then yes, we are able to accept your new pet(s). We simply cannot add anyone new to our system with the current overflow, but for those on file, we do accept any new fur kid(s) that you add to your family. 🐾
Side note: We DO NOT have a wait list for those not on file as we do not know when our books will become available for new clients, thus when the time comes, we will be sure to post about it. πŸ™

#2 – Our phone line (705-222-6185) is a landline. It does not text, nor does it have call waiting.
Therefore, if we have not gotten back to you then we did not get your message.
We will ALWAYS call back if you leave a message so if you have not heard from us within 24 hours, then we have not received your message. Do also keep in mind that if you call but do not leave a message, we do not back track to sift through phone numbers, sorry! πŸ™
There is always the option to send a Facebook message to book your appointments as well, if that is easier for you. 😊

#3 – Bows & Bandana’s! After about a year of bowties and bandanas given with every groom, I figured we all had a good little start to our cute collection of apparel for the fur kids. 😎 This does not mean we have to stop! However, we will now provide 1 free bowtie OR bandana (per pet) per groom, UPON REQUEST ONLY. 'Cause, you know, we don’t all like the cutsie little extra. But! If you do, it is still available. 😊
(Colours and bandana patterns can be selected in shop)
