To my dear followers and clients that follow, We have suffered yet another devastating loss and I will be taking a break from posting. Any dog walker that has done this for a long period of time knows how difficult it can be when you start losing beloved dogs due to moving or passing. Well , this year has been very difficult. I lost my dad earlier this year and it just continued. I have also had some of my sweeties move away. I'm still going to soldier on and keep walking but will be taking a short break from posting. I will be putting up a post honoring all my sweet dogs that have passed on and moved, shortly

Our Story

I had an opportunity in the summer of 1998 to walk dogs in a group setting and took it.

Prior to that I had a string of office jobs that I just did not fit into, and I found that while doing the last one that I had, I would look out the window and wish to the almighty that I could just work outside. I just thought I’d be happy doing something outside. For some reason I confided in a co-worker that I did not want to be inside and wanted to work outside with dogs and a week later I took that opportunity and there was no turning back.

Shortly after I started walking, I embarked on an apprentice program for dog training. I learned about dog body language, basic training, dog behavior. The experience was amazing. I apprenticed for three years while walking dogs on my own, independently. I also started boarding and house sitting. I have many many good memories of lot’s of years of house sitting and boarding. I loved it and I still love it. I have so many memories of walks that I’ve done over all the years; other dog walkers that I have met and also many wonderful dogs that have come and gone.

This is something that’s in my blood and in my heart and when asked “What do you want to do for the rest of your life”? I have answered “Walk and look after dogs...and cats”.
