Tellington TTouch is a set of unique ground exercises combined with body touches that improve general wellbeing. This method reduces unwanted behaviours while creating a deep and meaningful connection between companion animals and their people. Therapeutic Touch is energy work that uses near touch or light touch to support/stimulate the healing processes of living beings.

You make your anxious young dog walk through a large busy retail store while you shop. Using body language and clear vocalizations she lets you know that she is WAAAAAY over her head. She is nervous, far too stimulated and has no ability to cope....she is having successive "stranger danger" episodes. She lunges stiffly and barks at the other people in store and finally you grab her face say "No!! Stop it! Bad dog!!".......as if this will magically give her the skills she needs to deal appropriately with the present situation.

I find I'm very sad for the young Doodle that just lunged at me. She is not being listened to...she is being very clear that she needs help....but she is left to try and solve her panic on her own. This rarely turns out well for the dog
