Nikki's Barking Beauties is a home-based dog grooming salon located in West Kelowna at 3277 McMahon Road in the beautiful Glenrosa neighborhood. I've been a fully Certified Professional Dog Groomer for 10 years, I work by myself so all dogs are bathed, hand dried (no kennel drying) and clipped by just me. I take a lot of pride in my work and I don't mind taking the extra time your dog may need. I
offer quality grooming for all breeds and a no kennel experience for your pup. I only take one dog at a time or a family of dogs so the grooming atmosphere is very calm and quiet for your fur baby. My shop does express grooming which allows your pup to be in and out, so you do have to pick up 15-20 mins after my pick up text. So just a few rules for my doggy spa. I always let my new clients know that a big rule here is please don’t knock/text early for an appointment. (If your appnt is at 9 please don’t knock/text earlier than 8:59, etc) Because my shop is an express (in and out) grooming shop that only takes one dog or a family of dogs at a time, I do really need clients to be on time for drop off and pick up. So unfortunately I do have late fees to keep the shop running smoothly and safely as well. I always text and give 15-20 mins for u to come back to pick your pampered pup up. I completely understand that some people like to leave their pups at the groomers for a bit, but that won’t work here so another groomer may be more suitable for u. There will be $5 added if you’re later than the 15-20 mins and $5 for every 15 mins thereafter. Price goes off time taken to groom, so if you’re late for drop off, your time starts at your appointment time. For less than 24 hr notice cancellations, if I can’t fill your appointment, 50% of the groom cost will be added to your next appointment . For no shows and last minute cancellations, 75% of the groom cost will be added to your next appointment. My grooming hours are:
Mon-Fri 9am-3pm then an hour to clean and get back to clients. If I wasn’t able to get back to u please wait until the end of the next business day

**Just have a few new safety precautions for your appointment. All drop offs and pick ups will now take place outside. Please have your pups on a leash for hand off. Message me (not early) when you’re here for drop off/pick up and I’ll meet u outside. Still cash only here please. Also please book at a later time if u or anyone in your household is sick
Pricing: No debit machine so cash only please no etransfers. Prices vary with amount of time taken, breed and condition of your dog so I can give you my best estimate over the phone, but the final price will be given after the groom

NOTES:
**All prices are based on dogs who are groomed regularly. If your dog has a lot of matting, they will have to be pre-shaved before the bath and a $10 charge will apply
**I don't require the dog to be vaccinated, but know that bringing your dog unvaccinated will be at your own risk
**I'm sorry but I will refuse a dog showing too many signs of aggression or extreme fear
**Please don't bring your dog in if they're showing signs of illness or may have fleas/lice, but feel free to book when they're feeling better :)
**Please have your dog go to the bathroom before their groom :)
**Please don't hesitate to let me know if you're unhappy with the groom! I want you and your pooch to go home happy with tails wagging! If it can be fixed, it will be fixed at no charge and I'll be sure to write a note down on your card for next time :)
