We are a small animal rescue specializing in pot bellied pigs in Pictou County, Nova Scotia.

We are so grateful for several of the wonderful humans who have entrusted us with the care of their pigs.
Circumstances can pull families apart and it isn't always for a lack of love and caring. Many of you know Hank the tank and his weightloss journey. Yesterday we were so lucky to have Hanks first mama here to visit her boy. He was noticeably thrilled to see her, and she brought so many treats for everyone.
I would take all the hard days for just a few of these beautiful moments. ❤️🐷

It's a hot one out there today, folks! We are trying our best to keep the animals cool with plenty of shade, fresh water, pools, and keeping our little wallow full of mud 🤣❤️
Peppa doesn't agree with our efforts and chooses to lay directly in the sun 😅
Ever tried to sun screen a pig? ☀️🧴🐷😂

Delilah and Marvin are getting a new pen! We're thrilled with the progress of the goat enclosure and one of their new houses.
Anyone who knows Delilah, knows she can be a handful 😅 so we are looking forward to a bit less chaos running around.

It's getting hot out there folks! The animals are looking for some slightly used children's pools to cool down in. If anyone has any to get rid of we would be thrilled to take them off your hands 😂❤️

Dandelions, we will be taking a step back from social media as we grieve the loss of our beloved and sweet Jellybean. She unfortunately crossed the rainbow bridge surrounded by loved ones, leaving behind so many cherished memories and a love that will always stay with us. 💔

Thank you for understanding during this time. Hug your furry (or not-so-furry) loved ones extra tight for us.

It is a hard day to be a Dandelion.
We are taking one of our very first intakes, JellyBean, to the vet after she began exhibiting incredibly worrisome symptoms yesterday.
This has also highlighted to us that, while we have been incredibly lucky with our team in PEI, there is a distressing lack of vet care for pigs in this Province.
We spoke to close to 15 vets who all urged us to call someone else, and so on and so on.
We are on our way to the closest vet who will help her, an hour and a half away.

We fight as hard as our animals fight for their right to exist peacefully.
Please keep JellyBean in your thoughts and heart as we help her find peace and comfort.
