This is Morgan! Many of you probably haven't seen her face around the clinic, but we can guarantee your animals(both large and small) have benefited from the care she provides here at the clinic! She helps the entire team by holding animals for procedures, assisting technicians and veterinarians, aiding in pre operative and post operative care of patients, taking care of our equipment, ensuring our rooms are stocked with supplies, aiding with lab samples, preparing medications and MUCH MUCH more. Morgan is an amazing team member who we all rely on heavily and she deserves all the admiration and appreciation every day but especially this week!

This "mite" give you the heebie-jeebies! Ear mites, otherwise known as Otodectes cynotis, can affect both dogs and cats and can be transmitted between the two. They can be found anywhere on the body, but most commonly infect the ear causing a coffee ground appearance and itchiness in the external ear canal. Did you know that these mites are in the same classification as Spiders and Scorpions? This is a clip of an ear mite on a microscope slide in clinic!
