Babies are in the process of being weaned and my name is Mud! 🤣
We started weaning, a few years ago, where they have direct access to moms across the fence and it seems to reduce stress on moms and babies 😊

The not so little red dun, is sold already but we are accepting deposits on the remaining grey stud c**t and the filly (pretty sure she will go gray!)
Papers have been applied for and will go to new owner 😊

Baby #3 “Ladybug”

This little girl was a fighter but at the end of the day, she didn’t make it.

Somehow her and mom ended up on opposite sides of the fence and she didn’t get the vital nutrients that she needed in a timely basis. We tried our darnedest to fight for her, but she passed shortly after the vet arrived.
Raising animals is a real kick in the teeth some days, but extra thankful for the healthy babies on the ground 😢

We bred our blue roan mare to a black stallion, 48% chance of a blue roan, 48% chance of him being black, 4% chance of other 🤣
We may have to call him Chance!
