Need Temporary TLC for your feline friend?
Hello, let me introduce myself. My name is Jacqueline, and I am an animal lover first and foremost. Cats are my specialty, as I have been lucky enough to have cared for and loved 6 furry feline companions over the last 21 years. I have cared for my cats through thick and thin and, 2 years ago I was approved as a foster for cats through Manitoba Mutts. Although, at this time I am not associated with Manitoba Mutts it is only because I chose to give a permanent home to the little kitten I was fostering, who stole my heart and grew into a wonderful companion. I offer a smoke free environment, and have plenty of time for love, play and attention! Please know that in cases where you might choose short term care in my home (see definition below), with the exception short errands of my own and appointments that cannot be booked at another time your pet will have 24/7 care and the run of my place! My services include feeding, litter box cleaning, giving love, play and attention to your cat(s). I am adept at administering medication: specifically with pills, liquids as well as insulin injections (had two diabetic cats). I am able to come to your home during the day for a short period or full day (see rates below) As well, I offer services for the times when you may be absent for multiple days, such as vacations.
I am offering the following services and will take cash, e transfer, money order or certified cheque, to be paid in advance:
-Hourly care (in your home) Rates negotiable (starting at $10 per hour) based on time requested and mileage
- Single day care (in your home) Cost is $25 for a full day and mileage
-Temporary short-term care (in my home). The cost for in home care is $25 per day* (24/7) or a discounted rate for a full week of $110/week*. Please note, I will only accept one cat in my home at any given time, so as to not stress your pet. I will accept multiple cats (maximum 2) provided they are from the same household for only an additional $5/day.
* If you are choosing in home care for a period of time, a $25 non-refundable deposit (which will be applied towards total cost) is required in order to book the time you have requested.
I will provide litter, litter box, bowls and dishes, as well as appropriate bedding and toys.
I request these responsibilities of the pet owner:
All food wet and/or dry
Regularly administered medications
Favourite toys/blankets/cat condos (whatever your cat likes of course!)
Transportation to and from my home.
I request that in the event your pet would require medical attention that you provide a contact person who would transport and attend the veterinary office for your cats care in the event of illness or emergency.
Please note, a requirement for ALL of types of care chosen, YOU must make arrangements in advance, with your veterinarian for care, administering medication (other than regularly administered medications) and payment to be handled through you and your veterinarian in cases of unforeseen illness, emergencies. You would need to provide me with the information for your veterinarian, as well as your direct contact information, and a secondary contact (if you are not available) where you will attend to your cat at your veterinarian’s office under those circumstances. Your secondary contact person would be responsible to transport to and from, as well attend to your pet while needing veterinary care.
Several personal references are available to serious enquiries that can attest to the love and attention your cat would receive. Of course meet and greets, if requested, are free! I look forward to serving you and meeting you and your furry companions!!!
