Apple Pie Enchiladas - Incredibly easy to make and are Out Of This World Good!
Ingredients:
1 (21 ounce) can apple pie filling
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon vanilla
6 (8 inch) flour tortillas - store bought is great for this, Just be sure to buy Flour Tortillas
Directions:
1. Spoon about one heaping quarter cup of pie filling evenly down the center of each tortilla. Sprinkle with cinnamon and roll up, tucking in edges; and place seam side down in prepared dish.
2. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine butter, white sugar, brown sugar and water. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly; reduce heat and simmer 3 minutes, remove from heat and stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla.
3. Pour sauce over enchiladas and let stand 45 minutes.
Note: Don't rush the 45 minute resting time for the sauce on the enchiladas before baking, this step helps to magically transform the flour tortillas into a faux pasty dough.
4. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes, or until golden.

Health checks were great!! We are ready to go to our new homes!! Looking forward to placing these puppies with their new owners. It has been a special litter. Can’t wait to hear how you all make out.

Puppies are now 7 weeks of age. Lots of energy and lot of fun. Enjoyed their visits this past week from their new to be owners.

Would like to thank folks for all your lovely comments. It was special hearing from you and your Freelin puppies over the years. Loved the pictures that you included.
The age of puppies on this post is 2 1/2 weeks.
Lots of changes. Eyes and ears are open. All are solid on their feet and very mobile. I might add very vocal as well. There isn’t any chance of Ginger or myself being near without being noticed.
They are ready for a new play pen with toys.
More changes and updates to come.
I meant to post last week that all puppies are spoken for. As well, the marks that you see on them are placed there for identification so that I can follow their weight gain and progression.

Ginger’s puppies- 5 days old.

Ginger’s last litter. Born July 18/22. 6 girls/3 boys. 5days old. This is the very last litter from Freelin Kennels. After 41 years we are winding down. It has been a wonderful run !!!
