Evie has been sick the last couple days. Her new puppy Daisy just knows she needs to be gentle( she is normally the typical hyper pup) Time to snuggle her girl. Dogs are so awesome!!

A little over a week ago we said good bye to this fluffy monkey. Our fur babies are our children. We share their joy, and sadness. We love them unconditionally and they return that love ten fold. I held Chester's little paw as he drifted off to sleep and as he crossed that bridge my heart broke into a million pieces. I want you all to know that you must soak in every moment, every snuggle, chewed shoe, sloppy kiss, and mess on the floor. Fur babies live to please us and will do anything to be sure they do. Make sure you show them just how much joy they bring you because one day....good bye will come too soon.
I don't want to say good bye today, I want another day.
Let's turn back the hands of time to back when you could play.
I need more snuggles on the couch.
I need just this one wish.
I need more time to be with you.
I'll miss your doggy kiss.
Your fuzzy little face and paws.
Your love of all things food.
I want to see you run in mud
Your joy when I "humph" dude.
I don't want to say goodbye today.
I know though that it's time.
Your tired eyes speak volumes of a life that's now complete.
I know you need to be at peace.
Forgive me as I weep.
