Returned to Owners 🙏
Fount at Hellenic bank near Griva Digeni avenue. She was seen running away from a near miss car crash!!! 💥 her mild injuries are not life threatening and she is now enjoying her safety with us. No microchip, please share to increase the chances of going back to her owner. 🐕Thank you 🐕

Η οροθεραπεια είναι μια πολύ βασική και γρήγορη τεχνική για να σταθεροποιήσουμε ένα ζώο πριν από ένα χειρουργείο ή σαν αρχική μορφή συντηρητικής αγωγής . Επιπλέον είναι η πρώτη γραμμή άμυνας κατά της θερμοπληξίας όπως στο συγκεκριμένο περιστατικo. 🐾🐶❤️

On 20th June we opened our doors to 4 students from the U.S.A who are considering to join the BVetMed course in 2026 to become Vets.
We Thank Dr Vasilis Symeou, the student mentor from who has kindly arranged the
of Animal Science.
In my student years as an international student, I had the opportunity to meet so many exceptional colleagues who have inspired and encouraged me along the way. This week Ihave returned my deeds and was honored to meet the younger generation of students, shared my passion for Veterinary Medicine and demonstrate my line of work, from Examination of pets, to Diagnosis, to Treatment and Recovery Stage.
Veterinary medicine can be challenging for everyone, those starting now and those who have been in practice for years, but I promise every one student who is considering to become a vet, it's guaranteed the most fascinating occupation one can dive in! Best of luck in your academic years dear students.

As summer begins to kick in, it is important to know how to keep your fur friends safe from the heat and sun! Here are some tips to follow during the long summer months:

1) Ensure your pet always has access to drinking water.

2) Add ice cubes to their water bowls.

3) Keep a cooling matt or wet towels nearby for your fur friend to lay on!

4) Never leave your pet in a parked car

5) Bring them indoors and keep them in the shade

6) Avoid midday heat and exercising on hot days

7) Keep paws away from hot pavements

8) Regular grooming or clipping will keep your pet keep cool. Speak to a professional groomer as they will know what’s best for your pet and their specific coat.

9) Watch for signs of heatstroke! Some signs of heatstroke are heavy panting, glazed eyes, a rapid heartbeat, difficulty breathing, excessive thirst, lethargy, fever, dizziness, lack of coordination, profuse salivation, vomiting, a deep red or purple tongue, seizure and unconsciousness.

10) Reach out to your vet should you notice any of the above signs. We are just a call away – 24 633 343. If you are experiencing an emergency out of hours, you can connect with us by dialing the above number, and pressing ‘0’ after the operator’s instructions.

Καθώς το καλοκαίρι ξεκινά, είναι σημαντικό να ξέρετε πώς να κρατάτε τους τετράποδους φίλους σας ασφαλείς από τη ζέστη και τον ήλιο! Έχουμε συγκεντρώσει μερικές συμβουλές να ακολουθήσετε κατά τους μεγάλους καλοκαιρινούς μήνες:

1) Βεβαιωθείτε ότι το κατοικίδιό σας έχει πάντα πρόσβαση σε πόσιμο νερό.

2) Προσθέστε παγάκια στα μπολ νερού τους.

3) Απλώστε ένα δροσερό ματ ή βρεγμένη πετσέτα για να ξαπλώσει το κατοικίδιο σας!

4) Μην αφήνετε ποτέ το κατοικίδιο σας σε σταθμευμένο αυτοκίνητο

5) Φέρτε το κατοικίδιο σας σε εσωτερικό χώρο και κρατήστε το στη σκιά

6) Αποφύγετε τη μεσημεριανή ζέστη και την άσκηση τις ζεστές μέρες

7) Κρατήστε τις πατούσες μακριά από ζεστά πεζοδρόμια

8) Η τακτική περιποίηση ή το κούρεμα θα κρατήσει το κατοικίδιό σας δροσερό. Μιλήστε με έναν επαγγελματία groomer καθώς θα γνωρίζει τι είναι καλύτερο για το κατοικίδιο ζώο σας και το συγκεκριμένο τρίχωμα του.

9) Προσέξτε για σημάδια θερμοπληξίας! Μερικά σημάδια θερμοπληξίας είναι έντονο λαχάνιασμα, γυαλισμένα μάτια, γρήγορος καρδιακός παλμός, δυσκολία στην αναπνοή, υπερβολική δίψα, λήθαργος, πυρετός, ζάλη, έλλειψη συντονισμού, άφθονη σιελόρροια, έμετος, βαθιά κόκκινη ή μοβ γλώσσα, επιληπτικές κρίσεις και απώλεια των αισθήσεων.

10) Απευθυνθείτε στον κτηνίατρό σας εάν παρατηρήσετε κάποια από τα παραπάνω σημάδια. Μπορείτε να επικοινωνήσετε μαζί μας στο 24 633 343. Εάν αντιμετωπίζετε έκτακτη ανάγκη εκτός ωραρίου, μπορείτε να συνδεθείτε μαζί μας καλώντας τον πάνω αριθμό και πατώντας «0» μετά τις οδηγίες του χειριστή.

African Grey Your parrot might be cold if it is fluffing up it’s feathers and burying it’s beak into its chest, squatting to cover its legs in feathers and shivering. A bird that is cold might also get lethargic and lose its appetite
