Adrian went to Paws Shelter this morning with food & medicine for Maverick, who is currently residing in the room DRK sponsors.
Maverick, is a senior German Shepherd with Leish & is slowly recovering from surgery for bloat. It would be wonderful for him to get a new home this year as he is finding shelter life stressful. Please share.

Please share Maverick at Paws Shelter

Our girls cooling off this morning, Shadow’s tail seems to have a mind of its own.....

As most are aware, DRK Ltd sponsors a run at PAWS Dog Shelter, the idea being we can boost posts reaching an additional audience, & hopefully a potential new home, for the current resident- it all helps ..... with Hulk, we reached 20k people with no interest. However a young couple with experience of Hulk’s breed visited PAWS looking for a GSD, they were asked if they would consider something else, at which point Hulk was presented to them harnessed up ready for a walk, the rest, as they say, is history & the boy is doing well & goes everywhere with them. It just takes one person to change a life. So, yesterday was a Coffee Morning at PAWS, & we took the opportunity to see the latest resident, Maverick, an older lad born OCT14, but you would never think so. It was our second meeting, he is a lovable boy & vocally quiet when being barked at by his neighbours. If you could “Share” this post it would be appreciated. A very happy start to the weekend........ today is the day Hulk leaves PAWS for his new home. We took the opportunity to visit this morning to wish the boy luck. There is a lot of hard work that goes on in all rescues & days like this make it worthwhile. We will be posting the new resident of Hulk’s run, once they have settled in.
