Update:
The wind and rain has hit us again, it's just another nightmare for our equine family, although they are rugged up , its is bitterly cold with the constant wind and rain. Merlin rug just keeps blowing up at the back and Spirits rugs keeps slipping Due to them both still running around ,Zar,Aphro and star are a lot more sensible . The paddocks are bad again and a struggle to walk in not just for me but for the horses. Our stables are still incomplete and we did have only about 5 days works to complete them but the rain now will prolong this and I feel so helpless and so sorry for my horses and ponies , we will soldier on. They have food and hay to warm them up but paja no good in this weather. Luckily we had a deliver of forage 2 days ago ! Oh and I got stuck in the mud and almost lost my wellies xx
