just for everyone who may walk down the river frequently - i will be keeping all my walks well away until we’ve had any updates of change 🤍

Scottish Water is now urging people in the area to be alert to any "unusual activity" by commercial vehicles like tanker lorries which could be linked to the problems being experienced.

I just wanted to put out a warning to all dog walkers . Please keep your dogs away from the river temporary if possible . My dog had been in the Kemnay river , had drank the water , had been sick the same night and unfortunately passed away the next morning. There’s been lots of dogs getting unwell recently that had been either in the water or on walks , this had been reported to SEPA and waiting for an outcome . I cant say for sure it was definitely the water but there is a chance it could have been .

As some of you know my phone was stolen at the weekend which has caused a lot of issues for contacting people as I cannot use my number until my new SIM card arrives😫 if anyone needs to get in contact with me you'll need to message me here - but I am back to work today as normal!

URGENT PITCAPLE 13 YEAR OLD DEAF & SLIGHTLY BLIND SPANIEL MISSING, A REGULAR WALKING AREA FOR HIM BUT HE LIVES IN INVERURIE ‼️‼️

Our old man has gone missing on his walk at Pitcaple. We have a few people out looking for him but he is deaf and slightly blind.
Anyone in the area please keep an eye out for him.

Stay away from beaches at the moment, the surf is high and there is excessive foam from the sea on the beach, paths and stairs.
This Admin has already seen people down next to the water deep in the foam & with their dogs off their leads in it too in the past hour. 🤷‍♀️
All it takes is one slip or a strong wind for you & your dog to be caught unexpectedly and washed into the sea.
Emergency services are at capacity today and will be this weekend, they don’t need silly and irresponsible people risking their lives and /or their pets.
Be sensible and stay away from the beaches.
