We are always looking for more earth friendly products at Home with Hounds.
One of our favourites has to be this guy!

The Ancol Turtle Plush Dog Toy is super soft and cuddly, but best of all it's made from recycled plastics.

This toy saved 9 plastic bottles from landfill, which to us makes it turtle-y awesome!

Where possible, we use 100% recycled cardboard boxes and mailer bags too, so ordering these toys from us is a win for dogs and the planet, not just on but every day.

More making for our Etsy shop of Tug 'n' Treat Blue Ball Frame & Fleece Rope Dog Toys.

This toy is so versatile, but one of our favourite reasons for making them is that the blue ball frame acts as a comfortable handle. Owners can get a really good grip in tug of war games, nicely demonstrated with toy tester Penny ➡️

We found that regular ropes and tug toys can hurt our hands, particularly with strong dogs on the other end.

The ball frame means you can hold on longer, with less strain on your hands, giving more quality playtime between you and your dog.

We also make green and pink varieties, designed with different breed sizes in mind.

Penny helped out in the kitchen this week making a cake for Toby's birthday.

Lots of taste testing the mixture, watching it cook and then a quick nibble to check it was just right...

Her verdict: 'the uncooked mixture showed a lot of promise. The cake had a good crunch to it, but was possibly in the oven a little too long. Peanut butter in between the layers was a nice touch but you spoilt it with banana slices. I'll eat some but overall I'd give 3 stars. The banana was costly.'

Despite her reservations, she presented the finished cake to Toby to see what he thought...
